Quite literally homeless-chic…which is not bad, I’m just saying it’s remarkable all things you can draw inspiration from.
The funniest thing about this man is that he looks so rough and wild, and yet carries himself with a sort of pride and stateliness. It’s a weird, but really intriguing contrast of elements.
He has a sort of Goa 1978 style – trust me, I was there! I love dreads at a distance ………….. but am always in a state of neurosis and anxiety about how they are washed or not washed?!
I give him points for trying something here but standing in the middle of Paris – it just looks silly – multicultural slumming. Entirely different story if it was Morocco, Algeria
This reminds me of a quote from my favorite web series: “Guys come and go, but great friends are like nice looking white dreads: hard to come by …”Issa Rae, Awkward Black Girl
I love that the look is actually very simple but comes across as much more than the sum of its parts. Of course, anything would probably look good by association with that profile.
When I saw this image the first this I did was roll my eyes – to me the look is forced – admiration shouldn’t always be about the thrust, the brash advance – I wonder if he understands how to recede …
Hawkeye (born: Craig) from Westchester NY enjoys urban yodeling, artisan basement aged sausage, crafting and collecting old growth toothpicks, and growing “organic” produce on the repurposed superfund site by the waterfront.
I like to look different from the crowd. However, I don’t want want to look like the punch-line to a joke that has not yet been written. Thumbs down on this look.
