Have we so run out of ideas for men’s fashion that we have to wear skirts? I agree with others that he wears it well (he’d probably look pretty good in just about anything), but it still looks dumb. The high heel sneakers don’t smarten it up either (especially with too much white).
I am totally in love with this, such style and grace. The color contrast along with the fabric texture contrast completes the outfit and gives it a edgy look.
Adore!!!
Okay, he is lovely. Just lovely. But I can’t take that skirt on him, if he lost it – the outfit would be PERFECT. LOVE the shoes, and love the way he’s workin it. Thank you Sartorialist – you always give us something grand to talk about! xo
I’m not entirely sure how a man wearing platform sneakers, an oversized bomber jacket, and a skirt manages to look so elegantly understated, but he’s pulling it off. I’m impressed.
As a Scot I find it funny everyone to crazy about his ‘skirt’. Kilts suit anyone and are a classy choice for any occasion. Just cos it isn’t tartan doesn’t mean it’s not a kilt. Love!
it’s just gooooodd.
love the “masculine” color-story and fabric choices coupled with the mix of otherwise”traditional” feminine piece. bravo on taking dressing the body beyond just a single, or mixed or non-gender.
