The Scarf is granny-ish and its lovely….the coat is super…. but the american apparel girl…with the lace lingerie on the left… jesus…. thats A horrible view….how could you allow this vision Scott? i would have banished that…. Leave Sartland immediately girl…
The colors in this photo are glorious. I love the way the background matches perfectly. For me, the scarf makes the look special. I love the vest too and his sunglasses, but the floral scarf takes the look up to the level of "sartorial."
These caramel, creme brulee and taupe hues are very suave. He adds boho chic with the moss-green sunglasses, the lush hair and the scarf. Even his earlobes look like an accessory. He clearly is a 'creative'; perhaps a film editor or copywriter.
Panache out the wazoo. Love the layered variations of brown and grey nicely accented with the floral scarf. Dig on the shades. Nice stonewashed jeans would have been (for my taste) a nice added color enhancer. Either way simple and delightful.
I love this look! This man has impeccable taste. Even though everything about this look screams 70's, he still manages to come across impressively modern.
I do not know about floral scarf on gent but this is completely cool. The outfit is so pleasantly put together. I love how the trench has the two different tone to it, and the leather jacket inside has this natural and aged appearance to it and the jacket pick up the tone in the button, very masculine, then the scarf just spice it up. I love the background of the picture as well. I love that Italian Rustic image, the brown is magnificent.
Hi – I dated a guy who dressed just like that, beard and all, in Vienna 40 years ago. Maybe this is his grandson? The coat and scarf are ageless, and on his feet my date wore black Swedish clogs. What kind of shoes did the grandson choose?
This looks like a person I once knew: M.M, c'est une bonne mode–vachement cool. Les lunettes de soliel sont parfaites!
Also a huge thank you to Mr. Schuman (and Ms. Dore also!) for all of the great images. I love photography, but cannot dedicate a lot of time to it right now. You provide me with a moment to think about aesthetics and photography every day–thank you et merci!
these glasses are beyond cool, but if you look at this look as a whole it is even more interesting. The color combination is amazing with the suede brown and then the light wool grey brown mixed in with the scarf although i am sure taken with a less good camera they would not be so vibrant, the colors create such an atmosphere.
*So* not my cup of tea but the whole theme works for him … sort of the patina of a smoky grandmother's dining room circa 1976. It's all there: formica, linoleum, knotty pine, curtains, cross-stitch samplers, Winstons smouldering in ashtrays, college-age cousins slumping in doorways.
oh, and one more thing – I especially love the way his glasses and vest are the rich rust color as the background. couldn't help but leave another comment for you. best-
