It definitely caught my eye. I absolutely love how she wears the same exact lovely color all over head to toe. I love the way all the ladies have matched their outfits.
Man. Garance really is a professional. Look at that purple top. Her friend is killin’ it, too. (Though I’d ditch the belt … but fashion’s about taking chances, which I really appreciate.)
Love the second pic, too, and I know the whole dressy-with-socks thing is editorial, but unless you are a model, I just can’t get into this look.
The belts aren’t working for me either. It looks like they were both dressed by the same stylist. There is nothing cohesive at all in the look on the left. What’s in the Kenzo goodie bags??
They are working beautifully for me. or at least the outfit of the lady on the left works perfectly. She looks put together and lovely and the belt just gives it the extra oomph. Garance’s outfit I don’t like quite as well. She seriously needs to remove that weird purple top thing. But the other two outfits are perfection. The socks, the belts everything. I think its just a stronger statement then people are used to. Everyone has been brainwashed into thinking that things need to look understated at all times.
I agree, although Garance looks amazing!
That Peter Pilotto shirt underneath that Phillip Lim peplum looks amazing!
I never would have thought that would work but looks so good, especially how she paired that with the simple pants.
Looks great as usual! http://untrucoudeux.wordpress.com/
Caroline et Garance ! Great style, great smile and personality and it’s like seing a “girlfriends” picture. I’m all melting…..
The second photo is very editorial-ish but, maybe, too much of royal blue for my taste.
i am going to finally admit to myself…i am shamelessly in love with the color purple and that electric blue…everytime i see it….i am ready to sell my fashion soul for it.
Love the first picture! That purple top is just gorgeous. The blue dress in the second pic is a bit much, maybe without the socks? http://www.shopopal.com
I think you missed a fashion original next to, or rather behind Ms. Issa! Would’ve loved to see a full shot of her, her style seems fresh. In love with the ‘bleu Klein’ colour.
Amazing shots! Love the second look but I agree with Martha-it would look better with a little splash of another color

You know, I’ve read interviews with Scott, seen criticisms, and talked to people who think he is cold and hard…but it is so unbelievably clear that his soft spot is Garance. He loves, admires, respects, and is just a big softie, for her. I think that he is one of those men who is open to those he should be open to, and makes no apologies for being closed to everyone else. I respect it, and I love these photos.
I never normally leave comments on blogs, but I saw the photo of Garance and her friend and I just felt this overwhelming desire to leave one! The mixing of patterns, saturated colours and shapes is fun but so well executed. This is how I dress in my dreams!
YES! so glad that you posted this info. I started to question if it was her too, until I looked closely and scrolled through the comments to confirm.
“I AM NOT A LABEL WHOLE”, from her blog. LOVES IT!
Oh wow! The blue in the second photo really pops! Such a great shot… and I didn’t notice it in the first pic at first but after scrolling through the comments, I’m wondering what’s in the Kenzo goodie bags too :)
To repeat What another astute observer said above, that belt on Garances’ otherwise lovely friend just spoiled her entire look. Oh well… It just happens sometimes When one is in the mood to create. Garance is looking altogether smashing… All she’d have to wear is her smile And She’d be good to go.
Don’t know which is better — the wonderful outfits are the equally wonderful smiles! So refreshing to see pleasant expressions. The whole “too cool to smile” thing really gets old.
