Turned up collars on jackets/coats look great on guys. I think it must be the way it frames the face & it shows that some thought has been put into the way a person is wearing their clothes (and not just thrown on in a hurry).
I adore the encapturemnet of warmth yet extreme tension caused by the blizard that may surround the figure. Along with that, i love the way the lighting falls on him…amazing! X Neda X http://stylemontage-neda.blogspot.com/
Wow:) mmmm.. This man has got really interesting face. At least for me of course. Full lips + quite bright stubble + freckles + that something in his blue eyes make him looks very attractive and winsome. This collar looks sooo cosy and gives him a lot of warmness. I already thought that this guy is nice and clever…haha What a photo can do!
Side note–I really appreciate the way you use light to add a kind of experiential depth & context to a photo. Light can convey so much–its slant and diffusion can give the viewer a sense of time of day, season, latitude, even temperature & humidity. It helps to convey a fuller sense of the moment you're capturing.

I can feel the cold captured in his rosy complexion, through his gritted teeth, and high neck-shielding collar. The bright light reinvigorates the chilly sensation of a cold, cloudless, wintery day. Beautiful.
