I really love the overall feel of this look, but the element that really caught my eye was the idea of a pocket square worn with a tee shirt.
On paper I would say it never works, but when you see it done like this it’s quite reasonable.

Is it possible for someone with curves to become known for its style and is also necessary to have a perfect body?
Thank you very much for your blog, I'm a big fan.

I agree with everyone, great look. My question is about the material of the pants? I think what pulls this off is the slim, lean cut of everything on a lean, undoubtedly somewhat tall man. Good materials of course don't hurt.

Why wouldn't a pocket square work?
There is nothing inherently formal/casual about one. They are stylistically neutral, but pack a huge visual wallop!
Without, this outfit would look unfinished, and lose 80% of its pzazz.
There is almost no excuse for NOT wearing a handkerchief or pocket square!!!
This applies to suits, blazers, sportcoats alike.

This outfit is beautifully and thoughtfully put together, well-made, elegant clothes, lovely colour palette etc but what makes it for me is this guys attitude. He seems so relaxed, nonchalant and confident in what he is wearing. If more men, no scrap that, more people could wear there clothes in such a sure-of-themselves way then no one would have a problem being stylish. It is so true that no matter how chic or how trashy ones clothes are, true style is an innate thing that some people possess and some people just don't.

July 3, 2010 at 1:46 pm
What caught my eye first was the little leather(?) flower bracelet. Seems oddly girlish, unless I'm missing something here, but it is a brave move for texture and richer browns.
I have no problem with a pocket square and T-shirt. Would like to see it done more, as long as it's with confidence! If your jacket suits a tee, then a pocket square can suit them both.

White pants are the rage right now, including white jeans.
But how to wear them without revealing your briefs or more? Thre's always that contrast between flesh and white.

I think the little circles and the collection of all kinds of bracelets, especially the little flower, make it casual enough to be worn with a tee.

To Anonymous who asked for
"Need a how-to here".
White pants are the rage right now, including white jeans.
But how to wear them without revealing your briefs or more? Thre's always that contrast between flesh and white.
I do wear a lot of white, different fit pants,(work permits), but, to avoid brief lines and visible extra layer of fabric underneath, i do wear cod piece or male G-string in light gray – it works better – white sometimes gives more contrast look, in fine jersey, and this works well in hot weather above 27C, and helps to avoid embarassment going "commando", when you wear tight low cut jeans… – you always are in great shape, and look sharp…
Hope it helps
best

Totally perfect semi-casual wear! I love that pocket handkerchief, but also those bracelets…I don't normally think men should wear more than a watch on their wrist, but this guy has carried it off, but I suspect he could walk down the street in menswear from the late 17th century all beribboned silk finery and look the epitome of masculinity.

The MAN looks great, and I do really admire and respect the balance he keeps between masculinity and feminity of particular elements of his outfit: the braclet with flower'y element, the delicate colours of T-shirt, jacket, trousers and almost feminine pattern of pocket – square. All these with his beard, male- face still stays in frame. Chapeu bas!
