WOAOAH I love all of it <3 It's amazing how Italian men (assuming that he is – correct me if i'm wrong) dare to wear colors. In the Netherlands.. and also in other West-European countries I have the feeling that people are scared to play with colors.
Oh well, I guess this is the point of this whole blog after all: introduce us to some beautiful people… Are they all as beautiful inside and out as we'd like to think? Certainly not. That's why I like it best when you shoot unknown people: no prejudices. And the commenters are always willing to make the person a 'lady' or a 'gentleman' without knowing a thing about them. Remember when you posted that Kanye shoot? Well I don't really know who he is and what he does, and your shot invited me in, so you can imagine how surprised I was when I read all the aggressive comments! I've found what you are, Sart (or at least one of your facets): a George Bailey. Only you got to travel, and your Mary's called Garance!
By the way, I think I wouldn't look twice at this outfit in real life, but your picture of it makes it interesting. This is what I call art. I might be no judge, but eh… who cares?
Ahhhhh!! I just want to scream!! Okay I am screaming! This guys is the business! I am speechless, he's got me going… All the way. I am LOVING this blazer, the texture, the red watch and the denim shirt underneath. Breathtaking.
the jacket is nice but not with this outfit. the purple pocket square, red watch, two blue denims…too much going on and too close to twee and not close enough to be off and therefore right. maybe a green pocket square and different colored shirt.
While black jeans paired with a blue denim shirt would spell death to most outfits the young man makes it fully formal with that jacket. I can imagine other men reserving such a jacket as a humorous addition to a black tie outfit, but this man rocks the black and white without such ploy or reserve. The casual addition of the florescent pocket square and the red wristwatch seal it.
I love the apparance, it should have been a lil lower, cause he was wearing purple socks. Great photo, amazing look, wonderfull person,! Anyway; follow mike on his own blog! http://www.chieffashionofficer.com
He is another Italian beauty. Wow, what an edgy outfit, I love what he has done. No fear here, with the mix of denims, the out of this Universe jacket and the purple silk in his breast pocket. The red leather watch band and simple leather "bracelets" on both wrists are simple, yet very sexy.
Ok, so I like the outfit…. but WOW!! I don't know if any of you guys noticed this: Look at the pattern of the jacket and then the pattern of the stone bench or whatever he is sitting on! I love itn the contrast ;)……
What I love about this is how it encapsulates what the italians call "spezzare". To North American men it may seem like a mess, but it's about reinterpreting the obvious so that it is not predictable and not pretentious…this is an idea rendered famous by Agnelli, but it continues to be the signature of Italians. It means reinterpreting what is perfect, making the sartorial human and not mechanical…It's harder than it looks.
