On the Street…Pier 59, New York

What a great blend of streetwear and tailoring my Mr. @stefanotonchi_oficial ! The suit itself was a tech-fabric @maisonvalentino from a few seasons ago which has the look of old-school cool but the surface coating of a nylon-ish anorak.

Bravo Mr. Tonchi

I would never have guessed the water proof cloth being tailored like this!

Mr. Tonchi is impressive as always. To be admired and emulated for sure. But I confess, I just can’t do a backpack over my suits. I know I’m one of the , what, six or seven guys in the country that feel this way, but I’m just being me. I’d still go for an elegant, beat-up leather tote. But, that being said … this is Mr. Tonchi. Bravo, sir.

I’m with you _ the backpack looks rather ridiculous than as a style clash

Signor Tonchi usually has a lot to teach all of us but something is off here. I don’t think it’s the backpack, I think its the monk straps. For this streetwear-but-tailored look to work, he should have worn trainers in maybe a buff colored leather.

    Ack. He’s ruining those shoes.
