How many times have we all seen that reach for the lighter as the cigarette hangs from the lips? I know it’s not appropriate to say, and maybe it’s just a product of marketing and television/movie images but there is a bad ass quality in that look that is really appealing.

Actually for me, it’s a young Paul Newman. There’s a photo of him with a cigarette in a very similar pose. This is a wonderful photo, and seeing it reminded me of the other one immediately; I was overwhelmed with a strong kick of glamour! I hate everything smoking does, but those old movie star photos are impossible to beat, and this one too, by association.
