I have no idea anymore – did I ever?! – of what classic or non-classic looks are but I think her face is amazing-glorious-beautiful!

I don’t think I’ve ever seen a more gender-ambiguous person in my life.

Whether it’s the photo or the subject – that lack of knowledge (along with not being able to place this as a young man or woman) makes this one of the most fascinating/captivating photos I’ve seen here in a while. I keep wondering if it’s your eye as a photographer, if it’s the person, it it’s the moment, if it’s the expression…

    Well done.

Grr! Supermodels can wear anything and sell it to us. I like the jacket but like most people was stunned by the face.

Some people are thin. I recognize that there is a lot of resentment towards skinny types because of the societal pressure to keep up, but that doesn’t make it ok to pick on skinny people. My best friend is rail thin and often told to “eat something.” She has the biggest appetite of anyone I know and simply doesn’t ever gain weight. It makes her feel awful about her body every time she hears that, and also like she’s being invaded. Would you say “put that person on a diet” if they were heavier? Most people have body issues… why be hurtful? That being said, it would be nice if The Sartorialist would feature a greater range of body types here. We become critical when one type is presented again and again as the ideal.

Stunning in it’s ambiguity. Love the tongue behind the teeth thing going on.
