Thank Heavens!!!!!!!!!!!!
There has been a drought here of mile-long legs for some time now. You were so cruel, Scott! You got us hooked, expecting our daily fix with each visit then– BLAM–nothing but women wearing men’s shoes! Cute? Yes. Intriguing even. But next to mile-long legs? Just candy. I could feel every nerve and fiber of my being crying out for more of those legs that never end. Thank you for your kindness. And mercy. . .
I like the top half a lot more. I felt like this is two outfits glued in the middle. Looking at the neck it is very cold, looking at the mini skirt it is a nice spring day.
I agree. The scarf looks over-the-top fun but it doesn’t really mix well, or even not mix well with the skirt and shoes. Two outfits there. But fab legs!
Hello Scott.
I Like this picture. The girl is beautiful, the light is beautiful.
you’re such a good photographer.
But I wonder if it has not been taken at the Palais de Tokyo, and not Grand Palais. Isn’t it ? I usually park my scooter exactly at this place ! The Palais de Tokyo is my favorite place in Paris. You can make everything you want there : skate board, make photos, park your scooter just in front of it. Your kids can run inside and climb up on the works of art. Incredible nowadays. http://lapensionmermonts.blogspot.fr/
oh my god! more than the subject if u ask me, i love the striped pattern formed as a result of the light-n-shadow play!!!! Its adding so much drama to the frame…. love love love
That awkward moment when you look at an outfit and you find it boring and a little not stilish and everybody else seems to love it and missed this type pitures. What is so special about it? A short skirt and a coat with a scarf..it is not an amazing color mix nor a new mix of elements or materials, For me a true inspiration was the last picture of Viviana and her mix of elements and colors and many others and there your readers seemed to think it was rather odd then nice. It seems to me you started to get the wrong reader wich i hope won’t influence your vision in time. Kisses
You are not alone. I thought the outfit was simply ok, but most seem to think that it is fabulous. Just a matter of taste – there are nice elements of the look, i suppose. My first thought was that it looks like the scarf is swallowing her head, like an anaconda.
Her gams looks great, perilously perched on those stilettos, but it’s her upper half that has make hooked. That orange/black plaid (??) scarf round her neck has got to be super toasty. It’s the French way to wear a scarf for sure.
Wow, I have seen this girl 8 times in the last two days, wearing that gorgeous orange vest. she is amazing. Thanks for your blog Scott, we all love your work.
Ciao

I can’t help wondering if this isn’t just a case of a pretty girl who would look good in anything. If you put the same outfit on an average college girl with short legs, wouldn’t it just look like a hot mess?
How can the photographer just stand idly by while this poor woman is being eaten alive by a giant scarf?! I understand photojournalistic duties, but oh, the humanity!
I could do without the top-heavy nature of the scarf, though I do like the color. What makes this picture is how gorgeous she is and how long her legs are. All of you people who think stockings and hosiery are not in are dead wrong. More women need to invest in some proper stockings and give their legs the wonderful look that they provide. I would be honored to have a beauty like this on my arm!
I must say I am a big fan of scarves and wear one almost daily….
however, it looks like her head is so small and about to be consumed by the big scarf… proportions are off.
Do NOT understand the appeal of high heels! They just look painful to me! She needs some solid tights and a pair of boots!!!
Her legs are amazing!!!!!
the proportions are strange but maybe she’s like a lot of people including me, our legs simply don’t get as cold as other parts of our body.
I don’t think super high heels and mini skirts don’t look right together. Its all a bit too much. She’s good great legs though, no doubt about that. She doesn’t really need those heels with legs like that.

Her hair and face are lost in this photo. The skirt, the jacket, the scarf are all fabulous. Her legs are great and I think the shoes work very well.
