I always love her fashion whatchamacallit — she’s fearless about going out showing her dream-world on the outside, like a kid playing dress-ups — but the colors here don’t suit her. That ochre blouse washes her out, overwhelms the dramatic contrast of white skin and dark hair (although the scarlet lipstick working to heighten it).
I think that is right, while the silhouette is perfect, the olive drab, which could work perfectly on someone that has less contrast in their coloring, like someone pale, with blond hair, or red hair, or someone dark skinned with black hair, it doesn’t work on her lovely pale skin, and raven hair.
Simply stunning! Thank you for sharing these. Those bell sleeves are the life of this outfit and the color of the outfit compliments your skin tone. Those ruffles go well with the dress too. Going by this picture, this season is going to be all about sleeves.
This is the ever charming Rei Shito from Japan. She is a delightful, talented writer and style journalist with great style. She like to do things her own way – and I, for one, respect and enjoy how she loves to stretch the boundries of fashion. She is a free thinker and spirit and always looks super cute and quirky! I’m a big fan!
