That’s quite a poetic picture. I’ve spent an hour meandering through your blog. I wish you and your family well, now and in future and hope the good memories always remain.
this girl is lovely – this is the Sydney i know! glad to see you out and about in oxford st…what do you think, i wish you’d comment a little too with your posts?!
i must say garance’s photos are stunning of australia, whereas yours are good and interesting and all but she has just stepped it up and shown some awesome looks.
this is more dressing for the weather -it was very cold yesterday -beautiful clear skies though-suggest you also go to newtown for more individual looks
Firstly, is this not the future of fashion? When the earth reaches its final hour in 5 billion years (when the sun ceases to burn), is this not what we should all be wearing for a new civilization? This young lady has presented us with a relaxed utopian outfit – stripes and jackets should be embraced not only for fashion, but for the survival of the human species.
Hey Sat! I hope our city is showing you the love! I love this picture the mix of patterns is fantastic…also i think I own the same top and jacket…INSPIRATION!
Will you take a trip down King st, Newtown? You’ll be bound to find interesting individual tastes there…
5 would have agreed on king st, newtown 5 years ago, but visiting there the other week after being away for so long i was teribly disappointed. it’s become so generic and – sorry – oxford st!!!
now, i’d say pop up to newcastle and come out on a wednesday evening or sunday afternoon!
this look is great and i love it, but it’s everywhere. it’s the aussie 18-25 year old uniform for going out for a quick coffee or to the pub to see a band and have a beer!
Three very simple elements donned without embellishment–no handbag, no scarf, no jewelry to “pull the look together”. At this moment in time, young Ella looks totally comfortable in her own skin. Brava!
Great combination! I wear my navy stipe top with a similar jacket and its makes me feel really fresh and masculine (im a girl) and thats the vibe she gives off too.

It’s funny the way the light here is so different from the rest of the world… like the Australian sun puts its signature on every photo.
