What is good about androgeny? I don’t know any men who would care to be taken for a woman and I definitely don’t know any women who would like to be mistaken for a man.
Not picking up the androgyny vibe that others are. Love the neck detail and would have really marveled at that necklace should a close up have been provided.
who cares if it’s a he or a she? do u fancy the look or not? what is the problem with u gender hung-up’s?
anyways, it’s a he. his name is olof, and he’s got this fabulous sales agency(olof e agency) with the swedish brands; so last season, bea szenfeld and ulrika sandström. all very cool, check ‘em out!
wow, it’s clean and neat. i love this look and his facial expression in your photo. so neutral.
the colour combination is great too. i never think people with pale skin should wear beige. it seems “nude” to me. but he made it!!! thanks for the photo.
Wow, dude looks like a lady. Seriously, I thought he was an interesting looking gal. Now I think he’s an even more interesting guy. A good look no matter what gender you are!
Damn. Now THIS is a great look!! I want every piece- and so perfectly put together. At first I thoguht that this was a woman, but then realized my error in sex, it makes a difference to see that a man can pull this kind of look off. extraordinary
I LOVE this. Why don’t North American men dress like this? Love the boots sooo much, and the shirt is casual but he manages to make it look elegant. And Boris, what about this outfit says ‘gay’? If I saw him I wouldn’t think that at all. Straight men can be stylish and unique too…if you’re worried about people thinking you’re gay then you probably couldn’t pull off this look anyway.
he’s absolutely brilliant and jaw-droppingly beautiful — I personally remember seeing him at the marc jacobs show in spring 2006 and thinking “wow … can the man dress” … THAT … that is how it should be done.
and on an unfortunate side note: what thread about creative/non-trad men’s fashion wouldn’t be complete without smattering of hyper-dimorphic fascists? (like the comment about how men shouldn’t be wearing knee-high boots period? (probably coming from the same semi-literate frogs that, months ago, said men should never wear shorts when the question was posed) — I suggest the anonymous coward who wrote such to read up on the origins of men’s suits, particularly english “dirty dress” … where the ancestors of modern menswear were always paired with either knee-high boots or knee-high breeches)

This guy looks like the lost Legolas body double from Lord of the Rings- although, that’s not necessarily a bad thing.

Perfect.
Those aren’t jodhpurs and he’s not wearing riding boots, but it’s a best-in-class example of how to do equestrian looks without getting costumey.

I think I’ve seen this guy pop up on another street style blog. I liked the way he tucked his trousers into his boots there and over here too.
I especially like the grey & brown together.

To be honest, he’s looked better. Men shouldn’t wear high boots, no matter what the context. Tucking your trousers into them screams ‘over-styled’.
