New Yorkers have a “not bought” style that no where else in the world has…I can’t say it is American because every race, ethnicity, walk of life is there and by the pics…we never really know who is who.
Maybe that is it…maybe everyone breaks lose there from their cultural fashion chains and changes it up a bit….I like it.
So nice to see this lovely celebration of beautiful muscles and strength, especially after reading that appalling _Bazaar_ article in which women complain that building muscle while doing cycle classes makes them look “padded and… heavy” and trainers warn of the apparently dire consequences of “bulking” and getting “big.” Why on earth should women feel the need to quite literally diminish themselves and make themselves look weaker? Strong is, as this photo so wonderfully proves, beautiful!
Just depends on what you want. Its not really “dire’ to not want to look like a body builder. And this lovely lady doesn’t have big muscle mass by any means. She has exactly what the people in that article were lauding. Sleek, slender muscle. If you like big muscle then all the more power to you. But its not for everyone.
Beautiful back. I love those sorts of drop waist dresses! If she was sitting on that stair she is braver then me. I am no priss, but that looks like a very questionably clean place to settle down with a book!
