This photograph melts me. As you feature bikes often, are you going to start to feature dogs? Nice coordination between the skirt and leash. Her rings are fabulous.
her lovely smile & the little dog's expression make this photo. i secretly think he little dog is thinking ' wow! photographed by the satorilaist..wait till i tell the other dogs in the park!'
Anon 11:24, I believe the dog's harness is on correctly, it's one designed so that when he pulls is slows the front limbs rather than choking at the neck.
This photo proves what I've always known, as a dog lover and dog owner: no matter how great you look, your dog will always upstage you. And that is one of the cutest beagles I've seen in a long time.
D'accord with everyone – the dog's facial expression is priceless – smiling… perhaps – definitely a happy pup!
There is something about a person who dresses like a monk, but isn't (formally). Is is a past-life influence or a current life secret desire? Is it just a way of being from inside out, the interior practice of focused devotion to the greater All? Or, maybe she just likes the the combo of the blue and the yellow and together this is how it is perceived?
I'll always like the "monk" look, but I happen to, fashion-wise, give her props for attire – worth the pic!
Saw her on the Subway on my way home – loved the yellow.

One question… you have a great eye for style & chicness; and i've seen your photograph's of plus size men, but i don't recall seeing any plus size women.
Are there no fashionable plus size women in NY, Milan or Sweden? I happen to be plus size and think i'm pretty fashionable; if you'd like to come to California I'll let you shoot me.

What is it with the dog? Maybe because I am not a 'doggy person' but it seems irrelevant to me, despite the cutesy face it's pulling.
Is this the first photo of someone walking a dog on The Sartorialist? It helps that the leash works not only as a dog accessory but as an accessory for her. She is beautiful and elegantly dressed even without the pooch's leash. I love the color choice and the draping. She knows how to dress herself. I must add that I love the dog's smile.
Although I love the splendid combination of colours and the draping, it disfigures her slightly. Flip flops shouln't EVER be seen in public. Nevertheless a magnificent figure and the dog is great. Greetings from Amsterdam.
They both have thew most amazing friendly smile and expression! I love how that bright tone of yellow suits her so perfectly. Not many could pull that off.
The yellow and navy are great together. I wouldn't have thought it would be. Very nice outfit. Cute beagle. I think the harness is on wrong, but if it works for her, then thats all good.

"Sorry, but she looks like the Dalai Lama. The Milanese lady pulls off the color combo and proportions better". Anonymous said.
I had no idea about the concept "milanese lady", in fact, I have no idea about "milanese lady", and what about "napoli lady"? I prefer the South to the North
"milanese lady" sounds pretentious
On the other hand, I love asymetrical clothes. kisses from Logroño, Spain
Wow! I have to dress in total combat-gear when walking my wild shepherd dog! Does anyone recognize her navy knitwear? I would love to know the label. It's beautiful!
Hmmm…I'm thinking the sweater is Alexander Wang. Wish I could get a better look at that dress, though. I am trying to find a good, brightly colored maxi skirt/dress for early fall.
I don't care what Sarah said about that harness, it looks wrong. How would that be useful? I just don't see it. Harnesses by design, distribute the control the walker has over the dog. Sorry, Sart, this is distracting. I love the photo though!

Such a lovely adorable dog !!! Love the yellow dress.
This is a wonderful look and a wonderful picture but…those sleeves would make me MENTAL. My left upper arm would be too hot outside and my right upper arm would be too cold inside… Suffering for fashion, I suppose…
Love this, one of your best. Asymmetry, dog, color, sprit. Thanks.

It’s the simplicity of this look that makes it so perfect. So interesting. So classic and yet so intriguing. Well done to all involved, a triumph!

This is a wonderful look and a wonderful picture
but…those sleeves would make me MENTAL. My left upper arm would be too hot outside and my right upper arm would be too cold inside…
Suffering for fashion, I suppose…

I don't know what's more adorable…her smile or dog's smile. And I love how she wears yellow and blue, two colors that match perfectly! Stunning!

I can't identify any of the clothing, but the dog's harness is an Easy Walk Harness and it is indeed on the dog correctly. My beagle mix rocks a blue one when we go on walks.

I have been obsessing about this sweater since i saw it. what a wonderfully executed summer outfit! it’s so hard to get a great layered look that seems wearable in this humidity. well done!

Absolutely adorable look. Just looking at this pic has you grinning like a Cheshire Cat. What’s not to love? we have the stunningly beautiful lady, dressed to simple effect in yellow and black and the cheeky pup. Bellicismo!
It’s the simplicity of this look that makes it so perfect. So interesting. So classic and yet so intriguing. Well done to all involved, a triumph!

I scrolled down, thinking BEAUTIFUL! then I saw the flip flops. xD Never been to New York but Californians are definitely tolerant of flip flops! Don’t know why I’m not, really. :b
