Great scarf!! Loving everything navy these days.

Midnight blue with white intersperses makes him look very sleek and stylish. (Even the cigarette fits the colour code.)

watch + scarf = perfect. I want both.
The white spotted dark blue silk scarf remains the best looking man's silk scarf you can buy….if you want an alternative the second best is blue spots on mid burgundy ground

I love the navy blazer and the wonderful scarf. He's mixing white and creams, doesn't matter when you know what you're doing. Great photograph Scott!

Exquisite! I love the scarf. His watch is an awesome touch. I don't smoke cigarettes but he makes it look dope to do so. Great shot!!!

Wonderful example of how restrained elements can deliver big style
March 8, 2010 at 10:32 pm
i love his scarf, of course – but i really enjoy how he is holding his cigarette with such poise and grace.
blah, blah, blah, i know smoking is bad for health. but it is still beautiful the way he is holding it.
March 8, 2010 at 10:40 pm

March 8, 2010 at 11:13 pm

A+ look that fits the pose & attitude. Thanks Scott!
March 9, 2010 at 12:21 am
What a good looking fellow! He would do better without the cigarette, but his outfit is divine :)
March 9, 2010 at 1:12 am
The watch is only worth squat if it's mechanical (not quartz). If the watch is a Breguet, I'll find it in my heart to forgive his cigarette!
March 9, 2010 at 1:24 am
Now that is how you hold a cigarette.
March 9, 2010 at 2:02 am
its the cigarette.
March 9, 2010 at 7:22 am
The watch is a Patek Philippe Calatrava 5196, mechanical, manual wind
March 9, 2010 at 9:02 am
smoking is bad for you
March 9, 2010 at 10:04 am
I love navy and white. It always looks so crisp and classic. This photo is pretty timeless – it could be from the 1930's.

I love it when a man isn't afraid to wear a scarf. Great photo.

I want to marry this man – but then again, I want to marry almost every man thesartorialist takes pictures of.

Seems a bit angry. I know, I shouldn't judge. I heard that a smile is the best accent to any outfit.

March 9, 2010 at 6:00 pm
No one has actually mentioned the nice pocket hankie and the fact he isn't wearing a tie. I liked that.

Great shot. It's always refreshing to see someone holding a cigarette properly. And oh… looks like he's wearing a Patek Philippe.
March 11, 2010 at 9:26 pm
Effortless. He pulls off the dark-blue on dark-blue look whilst mixing cream and white – without turning a hair. Timeless and elegant.
March 12, 2010 at 2:57 pm
Mr. Poynter looks so suave :) Love his scarf!
March 13, 2010 at 5:45 pm
Shut up with your judgement about the cigarette all of you…..he is European for God's sake. He looks so regal…
