I usually enjoy many of the combinations that Lapo comes up with. However, I am not too sure about the beige suit in Milan in February. This style would be perfect for Monte Carlo, especially with the tan and tortoise shell wayfarers.

Great suit! Not sure about the button down collar polo sweaterwith the double-breasted, but then again, this is Lapo. More than acceptable, definitely not conventional. Always carefree. F**k the rules.

Lapo wear IN FEBRUARY and in Milan a beige “completo morbido”. Are you serious??
In my opinion, style should be contrast and I don’t see any contrast in this pic.

I’m not sure whether I like this or not. I keep looking… the fabric combination is odd and the suit fit seems off (maybe because he’s in motion). A very handsome man, though, so he’s making it look good.

This jacket seems to be the same as the one for the GQ shooting 4 years ago (just saw it in the history), which I love: it shows that Mr. Alkan owes his great style to an excellent flair and a good mastering of what fits him well.
In one word: elegance, not fashion.

funny to find in some comments such wrong a perception of what an Italian looks or should look. as you might know most people in Italy think Lapo is an ass, but never mind, good effort with the haircut, I guess. Cheap looking suit, although surely it is not. Suppose it takes all kinds! ;)

Like his grand-father, Lapo knows what the art of SPREZZATURA is. He’s stylish and elegant but nonchalant. Even if I think he sometimes goes too far… but still, we like his approach to style, probably in his DNA.

Bit of a Mickey Rourke vibe going on here.
Those shades look like they were made specifically for that suit – they turn this from a great outfit into an awesome outfit.
