I really love all the warm tones in this picture, and how everything is tied together with that multi striped scarf. Its almost like the scarf is reflected in his smile!
What’s not to love? The hat (oooh la la), the gloves, the scarf, the glasses, the overcoat, yes, even the moustache (I don’t even like moustaches, but on him it looks sexy) and that warm, infectious smile.
OK; great picture, and of course Mr. Barbera has his own inimitable style. Everything is terrific and classic: the coat, the shirt, the scarf, the glasses, the gloves, and the colors are fabulous.
But I’m trying to understand what he did to his hat — there’s something veerrryy unusual going on up there with the crown. Obviously a well-loved, well-worn hat that has totally become his (you have another picture of him wearing it back in March 2010), but I’m sure it did not start out looking that way (a Borsalino, perhaps?). C’mon Scott; you must know what’s up with his hat.
dig the style of older italian gents and what they bring to the table. i feel as if they have paved the path and set a bar for international style. always refreshing to observe what individuals of all ages and demographics are wearing. keeps a person well balanced!
I think some men are just timeless. their style is immortal. my grandfathers wardrobe was larger than my grandmothers. he always had to dress to impress
