like his style but not the sandals (too much lacing), other shorts( different color) would be better too

This guy has a lot going on! Those are some McGuyver made-it-out-of-left-over-supplies type shoes. I dig it.

I love the whole ensemble…even his hair & facial color go well with his look. Pattern upon pattern, but the whole look is cohesive because of the repeating color palette. Love the sandals!

Love the overall style, but there is never a look that will make me feel comfortable with appreciating socks with sandals. However, at least he had the smarts to not wear white socks!

I have to wonder if he actually thought about this look when he put it on. I’ve seen my son do the whole multi-pattern deal, but only when he’s flying out the door for work two minutes after he got out of bed. As for the sandals, they’re a little over the top for me.

We all know true style is about breaking the rules in the right way, but surely there is a limit to the number of rules that should be broken at any one time?

I do love his sunglasses and his hair though. Sexy ginger man, please try again.

    October 12, 2011 at 4:26 am

This is so not me to write, but I love this look. I love the patterns, his sandals, his attitude, and oh (I am so badly biased) I love his red hair!!!

Beautiful picture, my oh my where in the world (even in Milan) do you spot those people? Really, you must have some sort of a magnet!

    Kisses from Greece!

This reminds me of a post from last spring, I think another red-head wearing a Missoni sweater. Very hesh.

  67. MB@YarnUiPhoneAppv1.8

    October 12, 2011 at 9:55 am

A Missoni-wearing man…he looks he could be occupying Wall Street or something. Now that Missoni sweater…did you know you could probably sew something just like that for a fraction of the price with MissOni fabrics at emmaonesock.com? Not shilling, just saying. And if you can knit? Even better. Gather all your sock yarn and lock into a chevron pattern of your choice for some Missoni madness. Start with a scarf, graduate to a sweater when you master increases, decreases.

  68. tom

    October 12, 2011 at 12:18 pm

Except for the sunglasses and sweater the oufit is a no go.

  70. Annabelle

I don’t know that I’d encourage any of the guys I know to try this, but I love that he has the daring to do it. This is what keeps fashion fun.

  71. peebee

    October 12, 2011 at 3:38 pm

This geezer looks like the Aphex Twin! Have to say that, for me, if it looks like you’re trying too hard then it’s not stylish – and those sandals fall DEEP into that category…

  72. Charlotte

    October 12, 2011 at 4:09 pm

This is one of those outfits where the ensemble is so lurid that I can’t help but love it

Was a bit stunned (to say the least!) to scroll down and see those sandals. They are hysterical and so utterly ‘cave-man escapes into the 21st Century’! He truly can’t be serious with those x
