This is definitely a photo I perceive as being very current and timely what with Korean rapper PSY taking the world by storm with the Gangnam Style hit. I really like the shot because individually the separates are great but when they are put together they are just so right as a complete “Look”. I know most people are drawn to the neck peice and it reminded me of when I was a child on holidays and we would be taken to the museum. I would stare wonderstruck at amazing neck peices from the Pacific Islands, Africa and Egypt in their glass cases wishing I could wear them too! Thanks for the memories!
Its a bit of a risk for a man. I’m assuming, from my perspective , that you would want to make a statement with out looking like a joke. Even worse, a walking billboard, well I guess if you are into gold heavy chains like Waka Flocka or Lil’ Jon.
This man however, is walking art. Great earth tones against the military green ‘canvas’ shirt. And the woven texture fromt the brown envelope clutch is a great addition.
I LOVE jewellery on men & when i look at this mans neckpiece – immediately i think it’s a phallic symbol – but of the female type! The dialated cervix & ovaries !!! Very maternal! I wonder if this was the designers intention?!
This is a great shot and very timely since PSY is taking the world by storm with the Gangnam Style hit (I notice quite a few people have already mentioned). I really like what he is wearing and I’m amazed it works together, there’s just something so right about the tones and textures that makes the separates come together as an entire “Look”. As a child, when I would be taken to the museum on my holidays, I would often stare wonderstruck at the ancient neckpeices in their glass cases wishing I could wear them – This picture reminded me of those moments I would spend lusting over a neck peice from somewhere like the Pacific Islands, Africa or Egypt. Thanks for the memories!
This is so TOTALLY RIDICULOUS, as in I am RIDICULOUSLY in LOVE with this! I LOVE everything about his look, the sunnies, the bag, the necklace, the military-inspired shirt – RIDICULOUSLY FAB!
