What a gorgeous man. Beautiful smile and the colours just light him up. He pulls the whole thing off perfectly – I can't think of many men who'd look this good with a shawl. Great photograph!
He is so handsome! I'm sure he could wear a potato sack and look good but this look is fabulous. He looks like someone you want to cuddle up with and stay warm! :)
Only thing I like about the hat is his face beaming out from under it. And that's definitely worth a photo for a Monday–good vibes for the week. Love the jacket, but not the man-shawl.
He looks like such a great person with a genuine smile. You could definitely trust him. I love the way he has his shawl around him and how it matches with the beautiful colors in his coat. xo
This is one of my favourite shots – maybe my favourite. I'll bet he's some kid's nonno, and he delights in being a terrific grandfather. His face is perfectly weathered. I would love to know what shoes he's wearing!
This man seems to have such a happy spirit! And he's really handsome too. Agree with that one. I also love the shawl he's wearing and the wonderful combination of colors. It gives you a warm feeling.
Word of caution: While I love the look, this gentleman is obviously in the rag trade at some point, which is evident by the brilliant color match between his jacket and the scarf/shawl. The cut of the jacket is superb, and so is the hat. I doubt there are many of us that are so fastidious or knowledgeable about our clothes, that might be able to pull this off. I love it on him! Jorge from WPB
must be cold. great style is the optimal matching of form & function. like this. and the coats on some of the older women you've recently photographed. mature enough not to suffer the cold for fashion, but carrying the look (big coat, puffy jacket) with grace and elan.
Love the focus on hats-much like the shot from Barcelona a few days back! Always looking for a great jacket and this is it! johnbenjaminpritchett.blogspot.com
what makes Rabensteiner such an amazing dresser is how he always manages to wear his remarkable ensembles with such lightness. Dressing up often stiffens a person, but as his clothes are truly an extension of his personality, they flow from the same relaxed, confident place. A total inspiration.
the shawl doesn't seem half as bold to me as the hat does because it works so naturally with the jacket. the hat is out there but i really like it, the smile really brings the whole look together. it's hard not to like someone with a genuine smile.
So very masculine, so super sexy!!! To me this man is a great erotic turn on. He is so comfortably self-assured and so comfortably unconventional that I can only dream about what would happen when wrapped up in warm blanket on a cold February night with this man. Thank you, excellent portraiture!!!!
I´m in love with this eyes . Who is this man ? I like him . Where does he live ? How is his name ? I really like him . I really like his smile . Who is this man ?
I've seen a hat like this before and I'm willing to be that it was once a very expensive hat – an old boyfriend of mine did that to a beautiful fedora – took the band off and hobo-ed it – much to my father's dismay (he had given it to him!)
Lovely look but nothing new, in Pakistan, especially in the cold months all men of "a certain age" wrap up in shawls over their clothes to keep out the cold. Nice to see this trend, and turbans for ladies making it Westwards though! x
Mr Sart. Nice to see a "manly" man with a shawl! Great hat too. But it his smile that stands out above all else. And I love the colours in his beard. xxx
Just found this blog and love the great sartorial styles! Smart and confident grandfather with that warm and happy smile, and a hat I want to wear for my grandsons too :)
Robert Rabensteiner is always nice to see, his style is great..here the matching colors. And if you are a man with a beard, you can wear a slightly feminine scarf…and look cool manly, thats it. On me i doesn't work.
I like both looks on these shawlmen. Great colors and textures. The younger gents anchor sweater is divine. The mature gent's jacket looks fab with his fisherman's hat and beard — very sophisticated with a seasoned sexiness.

haven't you shot him before? he's so incredibly ________ …(i don't have the word for it – enticing? charming? alluring? nothing seems to fit perfectly)
Man! I just love how this guy's entire face seems to be saying:
"Wow. You know how long I've been waiting to be approached by you, Scott?! I can't believe it's finally happening . . . and on the day that I'm wearing one of my favorite outfits too. You've made my day, buddy."
Looks like a guy who'd say "buddy." Looks like a guy who'd make MY day!
Ohh I simply love this! What a charming fellow. I'd like to sit down and hear his story – he seems to know tales of enchantment and intrigue! His hat is also my favorite. It adds so much character and without it the outfit would just add to the daily humdrum.

i think i may get up and look at this face every morning. he looks so happy and kind and he's great looking! love his style, too. wish i knew this guy.
If he were my husband I would entreat him to get rid of that awful old hat, that beard, and that shawl! Underneath I can just about make out a gorgeous handsome man.
Are you kidding? This is my statement for the month. Are you kidding? He is fabulous, I'd follow him anywhere. The hat is what makes his outfit. How bold of him to wear such a great hat. And this shawl thing, love it. Love it!
I definitely agree with my foreposters: great smile, great guy. The plaid of his jacket is just fantastic, as is the hat…i'm not so sure about the shawl, but he seems to be comfortable with it.
I love this photograph! Look at those eyes, that smile, the warmth and richness of the colours in his jacket, the scarf, the hat….right down to the gorgeous box of green behind him. Looks like he is sporting a tan, he has travelled…to where? I imagine a beach in the South Pacific and he was wearing a sarong…walking the beach, enjoying life…this is fun! Great shot :)
He looks like someone who would live in a really beautiful old cottage in the mountains somewhere and be really well read. I want to have dinner with him!
I mentioned the "man shawl" and people began to laugh at me. I guess I'll have to get one and wear it, then they'll see how cool it is and they will want one too!

I definitely agree with my foreposters: great smile, great guy. The plaid of his jacket is just fantastic, as is the hat…i'm not so sure about the shawl, but he seems to be comfortable with it.
Great guy, great shot.

Scott you have photographed him before, right? I remember him. Those eyes and that smile – delightful, manly, gorgeous, disarming.

Such a perfectly inviting man. He could wear anything. The focus is his charisma.

He's splendid, the type of person who would draw others towards him. I wish he was my grandfather.

I like this man's smile and the crinkles around his eyes. That hat is so cute on him! He's like a granpa but a groovy one. :)
