i like the unexpected layers.

How often do you see fur not as the focus of outerwear? Very little. I'm intrigued by the layering and the idea of accenting with fur, but I'm not totally comfortable with this look. I can't tell if it's the pants, or maybe the fur is just too much?

Very interesting–is the fur a gesture or an addition for warmth? I love the way the fur picks up his coloring, espcially around his face.

i saw this young man at a fashion show on saturday evening and remember thinking how wonderful he looked! i think the layering of the coat of the fur is great especially with the simple t shirt and trousers :)

I think he did not find his style, yet. The picture really captures this.

For some reason his pale skin really compliments the look. Love the loose white shirt as well.

I don't know how I feel about this…I would probably enjoy it more if he wasn't wearing the black overcoat but just the fur…he's also waif-ishly skinny.

aha, the perennial wafer-thin white t-shirt under the open black jacket in the dead of winter! for how many years have slim, statement-conscious students made this their non-negotiable look, worth risking any number of consequent coughs and sniffles? …..but perhaps in this interpretation the fur will keep the flu at bay…
