This has nothing to do with this photo, although though you captured their emotion and beauty perfectly…Nice nod to you on JEOPARDY tonight. Toughest question in the category — Congrats! Well deserved!
sart – you were just on jeopardy! the category was blogs and bloggers, and you appeared in the $2000 question (or rather, answer) – off the top of my head i think it said something like "the blogger behind the sartorialist spent 15 years in this industry before beginning his blog." the question-answer being, of course, "what is fashion?" (which the current jeopardy winner, kara, got right away.)
having followed you off and on since you began i was very excited. so cool! :-)
I love these photos, both girls come off as carefree and as one commenter said, unfussy. Aside from the wrinkles, I don't know if anyone has noticed a few pimples on one of the girls' forehead. It just goes to show that true beauty is not skin deep.
I love these two shots, candid and lovely. Both of the ladies are dressed to the hilt in their own way. Nice to see such casually thrown together perfection. Wow! You just know by looking at these women that they leave the house every day looking this great, very refreshing. It takes effort to look good, no great, every day. It just doesn't happen. We have to work at our look and not give up until we get it right. I left the house to run errands this morning. I dressed in lovely fitting jeans, an olive turtle neck, and suede booties in lighter shade of olive. I was just going to the store for vegetable and a few things. Who cares? Got to look good every day!
I keep going back to these two shots over and over again. They are wonderful and so joyful. The ladies are so well dressed, both extremely fashionable but sort of opposite sides of the spectrum style wise. Very nice to see. I am especially in love with the leopard cargo shorts and gunmetal blue blouse combo. I love her skinny belt too.
