She’s utterly lovely. I now have a style to aspire to. (-sigh!-) Thanks for you your wide range of subjects. If it were nothing but 17 year olds of the upper classes it would be nowhere near as fascinating. Brilliant!

She’s that certain type of woman….the positive confidence comes off of her in waves. She looks great, has her own style, and makes no apologies for it. Good pick and pic!
This is a person who doesn’t have just elements of style or chic, but is a complete package….that’s my personal goal too.

great individual style.
beautiful woman – i mean her face, her freshness. she’s look beautiful no matter what she was wearing. but i additionally admire her look of comfort in a tricky ensemble.
if i tried to wear that many layers, i would look like i fled my home wearing my bed.

I’m all for the white hair. I believe it takes a person who is especially young at heart to age confidently.
Her white hair seems like a symbol of that confidence and, believe it or not, her youthful spirit.

What a lovely woman! She manages to look chic and carefree at the same time. I love the flowing layers of her outfit. She looks a lot more fun and lively than all the hipsters/industry people who seem to equate being stylish to wearing somber boring outfits lacking any color whatsoever!

she was in a pic from stockholm this summer. :) she’s a swedish model. so amazingly beautiful. even more so in real life (i don’t know her but i’ve seen her on the street in stockholm several times.)

This woman is so graceful! I love the quirky yet sophisticated style–the layering of materials on her thin frame mixed with accessories that give hints of color is so chic. Her glowing skin is accentuated by that natural (that is, not tampered by hair products galore) silver mane. Is she a J.Crew model?

Very well excecuted — she has her own style, which fits her beautiful white hair and is appropriate to her age. This is just the antipode to DellaRusso’s knee-wrinkle show. This lady knows how to present age stylishly and elegantly.

At first I thought this was a picture of Jesus. Or a monk. Or a Hari Krishna. I guess it could be. While I love the photo, I think she’d look stunning in absolutely anything. Imagine what shed’ look like in your “All Star’s” shoes and clothes. Beatific!

Hmmm..this woman was in Sweden, I believe? I think my bubble is burst..my rose colored glasses are removed. I always wanted to believe the photographs were of those that “I was walking down the streets of Paris or a village in Italy and wow! saw this amazing girl”…who happened to work at the local cheese shop or cafe or something and not really a part of the “fashion” world. I guess it’s like a diamond in the rough…to know that the cheese shop girl can put together something so cool and happening without really being in the “biz”…I suppose those are the photos that sparkle to me. Perhaps this woman in the photo just happened to be in Paris like she was in Sweden…and not part of the fashion world at all? Although it is nice to see a familiar face…I’m much more enchanted when the face is that of the cute waitress from that adorable cafe in Italy or wherever…and look how amazing she looks.

For Calm…
there are plenty of non”biz” people on this blog but to be honest I don’t really care if they are in the “biz” or not.
I had no idea who this woman was when I first took her photo in Sweden so to me it is very honest.
I know it is a romantic idea of the waitress with great style and if I meet one I will try to take her photo but I won’t miss a shot because the subject works at vogue.
30 years from now what will it matter? it will still document this period.

i have to agree with calm somewhat. it would be interesting for you to indicate when you know that the subject works in the industry.
to take calm’s point to the extreme, this wouldn’t be the same blog if you documented runway shows.

Her name is Ingmari Lamy, she is swedish and was a supermodel in the 60′s, did covers for Bazaar and Vogue. She’s a beautiful person inside and out! She has a blog where she talks about beauty, and also stories from her life as a model and her life now. There she also posts pictures from her modeling days.
