I love this picture. To anonymous 8.49, its interesting cos its a matter of style and self confidence! She looks truly wonderful, not being a "mega babe man eater" she is different from the main stream of dressing, Short hair is always a mark of strong confidence, going your own way, not caring about trends or be sexy showing a lot of skin, body, heels etc. I love it when young ( and older ) people dress in a way they the like, for themselves. Its about style, not fashion. This is a great picture. One of my favorite. The secobd best is the one of a stunning woman in black dress, flat shoes and a lot of tattoos. Wish I could find it again :)
Wonderful picture (as usual), but this look does nothing for me. I guess if you're going to ride a skateboard in the city, practical clothes trump elegance.
My 15 yo daughter and I are huuuuge fans! You've been her inspiration and has since bought a Nikon. Could you tell us what lens you used for this shot? Would love to help her buy it. Thanks so much.
Love the Vans Checks. I remember a boy in the 3rd grade (25 years ago) who was the first to get them. All the other boys ran out and got them…trendsetter at age 8.
Those exact Vans are what started my love affair with them many moons ago – my first ever pair. I've had so many different pairs/styles since that some people refer to me as "the guy with all the different Vans" Is this bad?

Refreshing modest. I like that this is street style without any distinguishing brands or trends. It is mundane and mod at the same time.
