Nice silhouette, the jacket is great, the colour of the shoes and socks are a good contrast to the shades of grey of her trousers and hat.

I get it, I get it: slim-legged pants are short and off the shoe.

1970's flashback!
those orange crepe soled shoes certainly make a statement 30 years later.
What makes this photo interesting is the drape of the knit cap, the slight peplum of the jacket, the cropped ankle and slant of the trouser and the toe box of the shoe.
all put together in profile it has impact.

That's a young woman. My own daughter looks precisely this way, and MaryAnn has it right — the angle of the hat that flows into the drape of the scarf that leads down to the jutting peplum-bottom that drives down to the angle of the cuff and then that shoe. Perfection.

I hope there's a lover in her life who, sometimes when it is cold like it is, pulls her close by the lapels of that wonderful cloth coat and brings her near enough to share their warmth and touch noses.
The hunched up shoulders and hipster-leaned toque say it all about right now. Those shoes are all about happy feet!

simplicity is key.
this outfit is nothing short of amazing, with the greys and blacks being the main part of the outfit, but then the shoes really stand out, simply for being a different color, not a bright one.
