And about as practical as strapping a bactrian to your back.

    Now that’s a self-destructive look: can’t walk, can’t breathe.

Where do all these people in Italy get their super-cool oversized coats from?! Such great proportions and from the looks of it, great materials. Maybe women wearing menswear?

I love the background! It works so well with this camel look. It’s always so nice to come here :)

Oh, I like. I’m a fan of monochrome looks. Not so much a fan of the super long pants; I’d just trip over them.

Lovely but the pants are far too long. It needs to be hemmed about 2 inches shorter.

I love the tones in this shot. I especially like how her lip colour is the same or similar to the reddish lines in the wall behind. It’s really lovely.
What I’m not getting at the moment is this looong pants leg business though -I’m seeing it everywhere at the moment. It doesn’t look elegant or classy at all, it just looks like your clothes don’t fit properly! Bah!

I could not agree with you more! Ugh… Those pants look just ghastly! The entire outfit would be close to perfection if not for the clowinsh and too hard attempt at following a trend whose aim is to just do something new . Not attractive or even interesting.

Love how the wall reflects and enhances the color of the outfit. I think the coat is a marvelous cut and look. I’d love to have one. The pants made me laugh. By the end of the day, they’d be ready for the trash! This will never be a look for expensive pants, Jeans, maybe.

It would be a beautiful look if not for the pants pooling at her feet. They must be filthy by the end of an hour.

It looks like a walk of shame to me. As if she didn’t want to wear an evening dress home in the morning and borrowed her boyfriends clothes to exit. She should have just borrowed the coat and sweater and left the pants. The bag from the night before is awesome.

Body dysmorphia? Why does she think that she should buy such huge, overlong and baggy clothes?…. (and probably hugely expensive). This could look incredible if some part of her outfit actually fitted. Beautiful woman + beautiful clothes bizarrely equals grim. This is so not working.

An essential element of good style is fit. Her clothing doesn’t fit. I don’t care how attractive the person is or how lovely the clothing is.

Why is everything xtra large? Not a good look unless you are a clown.

I am a HUGE fan of wide-legged pants, but hers just do not fit well. It looks like she’s wearing her Mon’s pants. Not a good look.

Wow! Such an obvious idea, feels like I’ve seen something like this hunded times.
But this gilr takes the monochrome tailored look to another level!! She looks so organic in it!

I love everything except the length of her trousers. Why? Imagine her walking for a moment.

  42. SHOST sandrolino

ALL oversized is ridiculous. Good fit is about a proportion – small jacket + large pants; oversized coat + all rest that fits perfectly, etc.

  43. LIZPR

    January 23, 2015 at 10:28 am

I love what SHOST sandrolino said.

    Proportion – yes.

I get this a “conceptual” look but it’s crazy and pretentious. I always appreciate a different look or idea or whatever, but sometimes the end result simply does not work.
