I’m afraid I agree, and she’s such a beautiful girl. Sadly the blouse resembles a pajama top. She is oh so close but not ‘there.’

      • Simone Fraser

        August 24, 2015 at 10:03 pm

I think she’s made the pyjama top work. I don’t mean it’s to my personal taste but that doesn’t matter! I often see styling in fashion magazines where I think the same thing but it’s nevertheless easy to appreciate the stylist’s or the wearer’s creativity.
I don’t feel like I’ve seen this look too many times before, either. Elegantly slouchy.

The beautiful woman is the treasure. Sad that you can’t see what’s really important.

        August 25, 2015 at 5:00 am

What is important is that people do not fawn over every image posted here…whether that be the clothes or in this case some moderately attractive woman…let’s be honest…she looks like a rejected extra from a spaghetti western who brought the wrong footwear

I don’t agree with your entire comment but I enjoy your humour!

          August 25, 2015 at 12:04 pm

Or does she look like a lifetime of happy memories? You’ll never know.

          • omega

            August 25, 2015 at 3:10 pm

If that’s the case then her memory bank has been robbed

or a poor man’s Sienna Miller??

        • Maria

          August 30, 2015 at 10:07 pm

You think that everyone that likes how she looks is fawning, and being dishonest, and that everyone would agree with your opinion if only they told the truth. Thats some self confidence you have there. I honestly like her outfit,. and I think she looks great. There is nothing sexier then comfortable, well worn, and not skin tight jeans. I also think that insulting people who are kind enough to allow themselves to be photographed is unnecessary. If I don’t like the photo, I don’t leave a comment. If I leave a comment it is always the truth. I believe every comment here is the truth, including yours, whatever that says about you.

I never understand why women who are dressed like this are included on a fashion blog. The look is so daffy, common, middle class and benign without a jot of originality.

    • andrea

      August 24, 2015 at 11:50 pm

      What’s wrong with middle class?

    • omega

      August 25, 2015 at 5:20 am

      So true

    • Horizon

      August 25, 2015 at 7:49 am

what’s wrong with middle class (if there is one …) and what has class to do with originilaty? In case you think that just upper class styling is original or has the right to be stylish , you lost the point.

      August 25, 2015 at 1:03 pm

True! It looks nice, not special, not hot, although she looks like Kate Moss, not bohi, not chic! But I like it, for this rainy morning!

  19. SteveH

    August 24, 2015 at 5:43 pm

Yeah, NO! What is it with the light wash? It didn’t look good in ’75 and it doesn’t look good now. Do you have to be show the opposite of what is in to prove your “fashionable”?

This woman’s look says “Personality!” It might not agree with everyone, but I admire her for putting it out there. For me personally, the long coat with turned up sleeves showing a satiny pink lining is the most interesting component.

    August 25, 2015 at 12:05 am

There’s a lot of trendy here, but somehow she makes it work… I think it’s the coat (yes to rolled sleeves!) that does the trick.

Fabulous coat and love those shoes (which I have as well, of course!)

I always like it better when wide and loose are combined, as in slouchy jeans/close-fitting top, tight jeans/loose top. It’s better for the proportions imo. The jeans with the high-heeled sandals are nice, but her toes are sticking out.

Oh, comb your hair and change from your pyjamas and “painting the house” pants.

If I were dressed like this at home and someone came to the door, I would hide. And I can’t get used to the fact that it is considered a “look.”

    • Snodger

      August 26, 2015 at 12:37 pm

Could be worse — she could be sporting a beard like the “fearless” character a few photos ago!

Some lovely individual items. I think ripped trousers have had their say in the fashion world and should be quietly buried.

Truly great mix of Boho / Ibiza / Chique style.
    This girl got it 100%.

I like the way you responded to “omega” above, but now you’re making the same mistake, condescending to those who don’t share your opinion. Remember that many of the people who comment here ARE Europeans ;)

Love this! Best of all, this is a look that an older woman such as myself could try (though I’d go with a blouse that looked a little less like a pajama top) and probably look good in. So many of the clothes here are too revealing for those of us of a certain age, so I appreciate it when you have something a bit more concealing on this blog.
