No. Lovely from the neck up. OK from the ankles down. The sweater is simply too long and shapeless to work. Certain rules of proportion always apply.

I’m a huge fan of wearing oversized men’s clothes. I like how she’s not drowning in the sweater but how it gracefully falls on her shoulder and creates a dress like feel.

by jove! look at those knees. And listen to Madame Vionnet. The look would be great with a light skirt, half a dozen inches above the socks, or a pair of matching leggings. Or, even better, a longer vest.

Here’s the thing with this look and so many others: the girl is lovely and slender, which means she could wear just about anything and look great. Put this exact outfit on a plain-faced woman with a chunky body, and it’s a safe bet no one would think it’s fabulous.

Thats what I wear often. Boxy on top, but a bit bare on the bottom, if that makes sense. And sandals with sox are always cool. So, of course I like it. The vest is what makes that special.

Scott, next time you’re in Stockholm you should try taking pictures of people in other places than Södermalm. Södermalm has a certain distinctive style, if you go to the city or even Östermalm you will see completely different styles. All the best!
