I’m hoping that she has a smaller bag stashed inside the large one and is going to leave the large bag at the door…sadly I don’t think that is the case.
I’m usually a fan of oversized bags, I just don’t think it works in this instance.
She is exquisite — that dress is really very classically lovely and could be from any era of good taste. Timeless. Beautiful.
But am I the only one who wonders about the enormous bags lately in vogue? Granted, hers is gorgeous. But why does it need to be so large? She could climb into it, use one of the several changes of clothes she must surely be carrying in there, and come back out as a different woman!
Again, lets remember this is reality This young lady works for Vuitton and had just come from the office to the party early to check arrangements. It is quite possible she either didn’t keep that bag during the event or didn’t hold any bag for the event because she had work to do at the event. That is the reality
Thanks for the baggy clarification, Sart! That helps. And please please please keep finding the people you photograph for us. A visit to your site is both luxury (like with a very good coffee table book) and education (but with the best of prof and the most educated of student discussions). I really appreciate it.
Love the dress, love the shoes and love the bag! Personal style is all about doing your own thing! So what if the bag is big? She dared to do it and that my friends is why her photo made it!
Absolutely inspirational. Thanks, Sart. And thank you to the woman in the image. It’s nice to see a strapless dress look so professional. I live in Arizona and the heat procludes even the slightest layering.
But next…how can anyone find fault with perfection? Sure we can nitpick any outfiut, but her overall look is sophisticated chic, while still looking very approachable. She looks grand!
If anyone can confirm the origins of her bag I’d be delighted to know! :)
Reminds me of the LV Alma in silhouette…but I’m guessing it’s the YSL Muse or the Horizontal Lockit in Epi.
On second look it isn’t a YSL muse. The base of the muse is not that large. It’s some hideous Louis bag (sorry I just hate Louis for no particular reason).
She, and everything about her look lovely. For those of you wondering about the large size bag, as a professional woman, I can tell you the larger bags are great for throwing in both your work and personal items without having to carry a handbag and a briefcase. Case in point, I can fit 3-4 files of legal documents in my Muse and still have a nice streamlined look. Perfect for doing a little work at home after putting the kids to bed.
She looks perfect. Im sure far better then any of us posting. She obviously prefers a bigger bag. Thats all you have to know. Is it even polite to be such a nosy mess that you wonder what a stranger has in her bag? I am certainly glad you are not my neighbor. I hope.

she’s very modern. maybe a bit smaller bag and some edgier shoes would have punched this up a bit. she’s very beautiful.
