Jenna looks great. Only way to improve this is to wear a pair of tights. That way your feet are warm and tights would draw even more interest to those cuuuuute shoes and you’d get a peek of color thru the hole at the knee.
I like the way she’s doing neon too, it’s just enough.
I love when you add personal comments. This outfit doesn’t fit to my eye. I like the jeans on her but not with the heels. I definitely like this style of spacious jeans more than the Mom jeans you highlighted the other day.
Ten to one those are vintage jeans, I love me a pair of great broken in jeans. I inherited (stole from dad when they did not fit him anymore) 5 or so pairs of jeans, he was tall and very thin when he was younger- aka instant 1960′s worn boy jeans! I wore them in high school, college and even have two pair left- my best friend to this day is like is that another pair I hate you, those are perfect.
I totally agree that that is the shape you were just talking about the other day. Honestly, I wasn’t a big fan of the outfits the french girls were wearing that you posted. Jenna is my all time fav girl crush though–I love seeing how she interprets this surely up & coming trend. Great photo, Scott!
I love what Jenna is wearing on top, and the neon bag is fantastic. However I wish she was wearing a slimmer pair of jeans to counterbalance the looseness of the top half of the outfit.
How does this woman do it every time ? She NAILS chic – pure modern american chic
The way she mixes pieces and the nonchalance of it all is just…. amazing and inspiring and thrilling.
Dear Jenna: you are the reason I wore JCrew with Armani today, but this isn’t working for me. Any one of these pieces are fantastic, not so much together. That being said, you are amazing.
happy to see the real deal after spotting her lookalike in the latest madewell catalogue! i thoroughly enjoyed reading the nymag article about her a few months ago.
for me, there is nothing like a glamorous heel with an otherwise casual outfit. believe it or not, i feel like Katie Holmes was a big part of introducing that aesthetic.
Wow! I love everything about this look! The jeans are just the right length and width, the shoes are to die for, the jacket is gorgeous with that fur collar (or scarf?) and the pop of neon just adds a touch of Spring. 10/10 as far as I am concerned!
I appreciate how the cut of those jeans are more practical than they are aesthetically pleasing. They are relaxed, lived in and normal-they do they job, and frankly, I find that refreshing, more relatable. Paired with a killer fur coat, purse, and shoes, Jenna makes this cut her own. I hope this cut stays in style for awhile! p,s. I love the sophisticated touch of the whit cuffs folded neatly outside of the jacket.
Erm, call me a Luddite, but I think this “new” cut of jeans is really unflattering, makes the lower half of her body look lumpy and frumpy. Everything else rocks.
Love the jacket and shoes, but the total look is not really my thing.
I’m one of those matchy matchy people and the neon yellow bag just doesn’t suit the rest
really love jenna lyons’ style. she perfectly encapsulates what i would love to capture in my own style: a sorta tomboyish look with a dash of femininity.
This outfit is really beautiful. The neon, the “boyfriend” jeans, and the fur coat, plus the shoes. That an exemple of an outfit that sounds weird when you say it, but that is sublime on the streets.
The “boyfriend” jeans are taken to a new heights in this great ensemble. The fur and heels are so unexpected – yet lovely. http://www.queenbeeofbeverlyhills.com

I am in a clear minority, but this look is not eclectic, it’s poorly matched . Being a beautiful tall woman , Jenna can wear a sack and that’s exactly what she is doing. I don’t understand all the adulation that’s pouring over this misfit ensemble. Common, folks, be reasonable.
This does not look good to me. Can’t reconcile the boyf jeans and heels, and don’t get me started on the neon.. (She is a beautiful woman though, so she can pretty much wear anything).
Love the shoes, love the coat, love the bag… love the entire outfit. She makes it work perfectly.
I’ll ask the same question as many others here: Who are these shoes from?
And the coat?
In answer to certain “misfit” comments though: this look wouldn’t work on just anyone, that is for sure. Jenna pulls it off nicely, but unfortunately, it wouldn’t be the case for just anyone.
This is the type of look I dream of putting together every day, such natural style to make all these elements work together and come out looking this stylish and interesting
I love the look. Her outfit is made up of basic pieces that all have a little somethin’ special to make them less boring. Jeans, heels, white shirt, fabulous jacket/scarf. All neutral with a pop of neon from the bag. Seriously, what’s not to like?

Here is my challenge to the Fashionistas: do not wear jeans for a year.
Do not wear ripped jeans, wide jeans, cropped jeans, skinny jeans, jeggings, McQueen slouch jeans, designer jeans, supermarket jeans or any other jeans in any way shape or form.
A little late on my end…but that jacket could be made with some scrumptious cashmere, then bound with a faux leather topped off with a fur collar probably for a lot less than this jacket actually cost.

This is an AWESOME way to wear the jeans you were mentioning before …. with a narrow silhouette on top. This is perfectly done.

I love the fur and the baggy jeans…somehow the neon is not my favorite, but it definitely caught my eye.

Reminds me of an old New Yorker cartoon: “It’s a look , alright, I just hope it isn’t The Look!”

Love the heels. I wouldn’t pair them with jeans, but rather a sexy dress.

A little late on my end…but that jacket could be made with some scrumptious cashmere, then bound with a faux leather topped off with a fur collar probably for a lot less than this jacket actually cost.
