I love patterns like herringbone, check, and houndstooth. I wish someone would put together a nice HowTo for mixing the patterns without looking overworked.

This guy is as crisp as they come, while still looking casual. I love the equestrian-looking jacket. The angled pockets – and especially the inclusion of a ticket pocket – really set it off.

I might do this jacket with a turtleneck, or a open spread collar shirt with an ascot or a scarf in a small paisley or a foulard. Maybe splash on a little Acqua di Parma (or Aqua Velva), then go to L’Express or La Goulue,and chill.

This is a timeless look.

The jacket is a great statement for the fall in NYC a little heavier weight. Also I like his bag, moving away from the messenger bag and saving his jacket shouolders.

That bag looks interesting. I have been looking for a new laptop bag, and have been wondering if a tote like bag can be masculine and comfortable?

I love the jacket, tie, glasses, pocket square, jeans…everything is so good….EXCEPT THE BAG.

Maybe it’s a pet peeve but it feels like now that women have got over the tent-sized handbag, men have decided it’s their turn. Who needs a precious leather bag this size? – I’m guessing he’s not a chic plumber.

As mentioned, the coherence of the various browns (all of which match well with the denim hue) brings the outfit together beautifully. The tie is especially nice.

This is what I’m talking about. Thank you for posting this. This is a true definition of sartorial. Look at the way that jacket fits this gentleman and he is also well groomed with all right accesories to make the outfit work. Sart, you’re big time now and you can really influence the dress code with your success. The majority of men do not have the ability to dress themselves and they need guidance and assistance. Keep posting this type of photos and would like to see more Italian Preppy in the near future. Thank you.

My,he is too good to be true.I like his unshaved face and the haircut. The jacket fits perfectly and the colors ,white and leather mix nicely. Actually everything is almost too perfect. A fine picture.

and i must admit, i am a sucker for a handsome man in glasses.
the bag is beautiful, but i do find it slightly too similar to a women’s tote. perhaps something a little less structured would do the trick, the the color of the leather is absolute perfection.

Is this gentleman with the fablous coat wearing black(!)pants? If yes, than forget about it all. An absolute no no,IMHO! The undone button down shirt is cute.
It looks to me as if upstairs has been carefully put together until he blew it with very dark pants.
