So I found a really great shop in Madrid yesterday called Just One.
Cesare Attolini, Tom Ford, Edward Green, the shop is full of classic labels but bought and displayed in a very cool way. I’m still learning about the shop but it will definitely be a very good reason for me to make Madrid a more common stop on my trips to Europe.

Love the man's hair cut! The length of the coats is quite stylish! The man's clothing is quite nice, but his shoes don't seem to go with what he is wearing. Love the coloring in the second photo, the effect of the light and of the shade.

I prefer the clothes on the mannequin to what Javier is wearing! That long jacket looks poorly made in the navy, whereas it is quite elegant in the brown wool.

Gees Louise, let him enjoy Madrid a little. The man just landed in Spain, hasn't had an espresso or watched a corrida yet and he's already requested to make an appearance in Rome to meet the Pope.
At the end of the day, to use a trodden expression, it boils down to the individual, not the city. And there you have it, ladies and germs.

A friend and I took a trip through Europe and of all the places we went I think we were most surprised with Madrid. We didn't have much expectations and thought we would only use it as a starting point for the rest of Spain, but we were amazed at the stylishness of the city and its people…and the women, oooh la la the women!!!

Next time you have to visit the shop of LANDER URQUIJO (serrano 120) you would have loved it. He is a young sartoria who makes made to meassure suits, mixtures classic fabrics with crazy patterned new ones and the sells vintage furniture bought in antique french markets.
Plus he is the nicest guy in town
Honestly, you would love it

Well we should not fight about cities, definitely each city has something to offer fashion wise. Speaking of it, I found an incredible magazine that covers fashion trends from different countries in the world! it is called Schön! Magazine and it is just so fresh and not stereotypical. it is reaaally cool check it out and maybe some of your country's fashion is featuring this issue i dont know! http://www.nineteen74.com/magazine/current.html

More Madrid, please!!! just too few pictures :-(
There are great shops here. Alternativelly to the mainstream "Salamanca quarter" (calle Serrano, Velázquez, Goya…) I should highly recommend you to visit triball, the more alternative neighbourhood near Calle Ballesta. These is interesting: young and emerging designers, cool bars and cafes, brothels and sex-shops all mixed up…Very inspiring!!
I'd love you guys to visit my Vintage Store on line:

Last year, i lived in Madrid.
People over there have a really classic approach towards fashion in my opinion. In Barcelona diffrently from Madrid, we are able to see a more urban and cosmopolitan aprroach. I think there is more variety in Barcelona, in the other hand the sophistication from the Spanish people in Madrid abosolutely blows me away, the men over there are always impeccable, dressing really formally with beautifully cutten suits and cotton shirts. When you go there again don't miss a street called Calle del Duque di Liria there are some amazing stores like Mini and Sportivo and there is another one called clean on the corner of Alberto Aguilera which is extremly nica aswell. Isolee (Chueca) and Gallery (Jorge Juan) are great shops aswell…

In Madrid there are diferrent areas with different street styles, Salamanca quartier, the most stilish, Chueca quartier and Fuencarral street, the most cosmopolitan and 'fashionable', Gran VĂa, the street where you find everything, and Moncloa, where universitarians live,
of course each place is very far from the other, so it's difficult to see variety like in the small Barcelona.
Look here: you'll see the variety of Spain fashion on streets:
