I love this look and the Martens. Do you think there is an age limit to wear the Martens?, I would like to buy one but I am afraid they will not look good because of my age. I would appreciate your take on this. Thank you

Oooo! Fun idea. I love my Docs and my suits but have never put them together. Perhaps I will introduce them to each other and see if they get along.
Hera, there is definitely no age limit to Docs. It’s all about how and where you rock them. Actually, given how stable and comfortable they are, perhaps we should introduce retirement communities to them.

Now, this is how menswear should be worn.
I am all for this great, “masculine” look that is comfortable and elegant. I think a mature woman could totaly pull off this look, Martens included because it’s all about attitude and a great hair cut !
Could Scott say anything concerning the background ?

Tjhe background is from the inside staircase at this season’s Pitti Uomo. I believe the green strips are ribbon. Hope that helps!

So, I love this picture, but I’m guessing what makes the picture great, besides the photographer of course, it’s that girl’s attitude, everything is so cool on her, and she’s so pulling that suit together!

Now she looks great in “men’s” clothing. Its got nothing to do with gender sensitivites as a previous poster suggested. Its go to do with what looks great on someone – either gender
