Like her Dries van Noten style with her black baggy pants and her navy longsleeve. it looks so damn cool on her, but the shoes are a little bit odd in that combination! by the way..I like the man in the backround on the right side so much in his grey style and his brown leather boots, which fit extraordinary well. Like everytime a nice shot!
I'm amazed by these comments. Dusty I'll-fitting pants? Check. Baggy sweatshirt? Check. Ugly slipper boots? Check. Overlong, uncombed hair? Check! if this is fashion then please be sure to drop by and see what I wear when I walk the dog first thing in the morning, especially when I'm home sick with the flu!
The fellow behind her (was she caught in her boyfriend's clothes on a walk of shame?) looks very interesting. Especially his cross buttoned sweater!
I have a strange craving for her shoes, they seem very southern americano descent, which is the weird euoproia i've been portraying for the last couple of days or so…Hmmm. Anyway, i adore the lighting on her face-as i've already said so in a previous snapshot, i think you are a genious at that, you never seem to capture a negative flaw. The baggy, boyish, drag-down look im discovering to be quite appealing. X Neda X http://stylemontage-neda.blogspot.com/
3 of the most popular trousers: denim khaki running
all 3 having something going on at the ankle which is the focal point of interest. in this case, all 3 are paired with practical popular types of boots
You've got me obsessed with inky blue/black. It's all I think about when I look in my closet, and when I'm walking through crowds it's the thing that draws my attention. I also love the boots on the chap to her left. I believe they are Red Wings and J.Crew had a partnership them for a while, perhaps they still do.
She's not trying too hard. I think with her figure, complexion, and hair, she can get away with wearing just about anything. I think that what really makes this picture beautiful is the expression on her face–she looks so serene and centered and warm.
I think this is an excellent photo that tells us that it not what you wear but how you wear it that makes it. She looks comfortable and confident so this suits very well on her. I am also liking the man behind her even though he seems a bit stressed and desoriented.
I am not sure how I feel about the outfit. At first response I didn't like it, but after reading everyones comments I decided that I could potentially wear this when running errands. However, I was drawn to the photograph. It is absolutely phenomenal. She is captured in such a simple moment, but I am genuinely interested in meeting her calm and soft exterior. This outfit is…approachable.
When I first looked at the picture I thought, what is so special about it? The woman is wearing rather ordinary black clothes and messy hair. But when I looked down, I saw that the long hair pointed to those amazing boots. They give her an air of intrigue.
A great picture!! Love the stillness in it, simultaneously as there's lots of motions in it. And her style is amazing! What fascinates me most, though, is her facial expression. I think that's how Mona Lisa would look like today..
Great picture! I love the stillness in it, simultaneously as there's lots of motions. I adore her style! What fascinates me most, though, is her facial expression. If Da Vinci would have painted Mona Lisa today, that's how she would look like.
I find this outfit a bit too casual and shapeless. Anyway, her, standing firmly while everybody seems active around her, is interesting ; and the sun lightning is so pretty! You didn't say where you get this picture : still in Italy ?
should've moved your camera to the right, it's the guy to her left that should've been the focus of attention for this photo! love that sweater & scarf!
I love how she accentuates her shoes by wearing dark colors up top. She is like a hidden gem within the crowd of people. I actually could see myself dressing just like her. I want her pants!
WOW I have boots of the same caliber, lucky me! I thought I am the only one who favours them, but now I see they are almost the trend! Beauty, handicraft and comfyness rule!
Hi,i'm Ceci from Asturias,Spain. My birthday is in trhree weeks and i'd like very much that you make a special photograph for meeee:) I love your blog,i visit it EVERYDAY..and,I'm 13 years old.
Looks like she just rolled out of bed, I'm the first to be lazy and dress comfy. Minus her hair, I don't find anything special here. You can find girls dressed like this on any college campus during the morning class commute.
great pic, different style than others out there for sure. Thank's for sharing and as usual great job picking out different people(things, images, styles) :)
Commenters on here so suffer from the 'Emperor's New Clothes by Proxy Syndrome' it's ridiculous. She's basically wearing a circus costume and people here are on the ground worshipping her.
casual and comfy outfit is cool; shoes are a meh. personally, only a north american indigenous person can pull off their traditional footwear; on anyone else it doesn't have the same beauty and strength. her hair is beautiful against the black of her outfit. but, the combo with the boots and the look on the face gives off a "i'm trying too hard look". love the man in the background though!
this look really does it for me- especially since I just had a baby and only have oversized stuff left in my closet. I think its the boots that nail it…the hair helps too
Ouch! Is everyone looking at the same pitcure? Can't say I'm a big fan of "dump in the daiper" sweats.Honestly, they look like they're for a person three times her size! Now, the guy standing behind her, love the sweater, scarf, and sunglasses. The whole look is appealing!
Shoe ID request. The dude to the right of the woman appears to be wearing Red Wing boots/chukkas (another poster seems to think so too). Can anyone with shoe-fu confirm that they are? IF so, model?
The one look that creeps me out is the upside down sweatshirt worn as pants and cinched at the waist. The saggy crotch reminds me of my mother in law's incontinent days. At least this is monochromatic, hiding the line somewhat. Otherwise, okay.
I'm with Petey (8:26 a.m.). I'm astounded by all the love for this look. Baggy, dumpy sweats and frumpy boots, messy hair? Looks half this careless get scolded here regularly; what redeems this one? I don't see it. And I am a big fan of comfort. I just don't see how the look in this photo merits *this* much admiration, even given the (perfectly appropriate) open-minded acceptance of all kinds of individual style expressed on this blog.
Liking the contrast of the hustle and bustle around the subject while she's just standing there in a stationary moment. The fashion (even lack thereof) and the composition tells the story well.
OMG! she looks so down-to-earth, skateboarder/snowboarder, laid-back type. She is so fierce! Love the pants tucked into the high moccasins and the way she wrapped the laces. I also love her expression, as if she's saying "yeah, I see him" to her boyfriend on the phone. Wonder who she's looking at..

Yes, this woman is beautiful. OK. But she is wearing an outfit I've seen on toddlers dropped off at daycare.

casual and comfy outfit is cool; shoes are a meh. personally, only a north american indigenous person can pull off their traditional footwear; on anyone else it doesn't have the same beauty and strength. her hair is beautiful against the black of her outfit. but, the combo with the boots and the look on the face gives off a "i'm trying too hard look". love the man in the background though!

this look really does it for me- especially since I just had a baby and only have oversized stuff left in my closet.

The boots are excellent and outfit is not going with other things so if you are in funky look then it must be maintained.

She is stunningly beautiful with a bit of style. One has to have one or the other in quality.
