great photo full of suspence……not a fan of her hair or shoes….if her hair was longer and she wore 60′s hells it would look like a still from a film…

  47. wmbg

    January 11, 2012 at 12:40 pm

thing is. this is an entirely appropriate all-black ensemble.

but it would also work if that coat was a bright blue or her tights were a royal purple.

    leaving some to the imagination.

  48. richard

    January 11, 2012 at 12:41 pm

why are people saying its a monochromatic look? it is a black and white photo, she could potentially have low density green, blue, maroon, brown, any low density of a color would be dark with enough contrast.

cool photo scott, i like the direction of light and the leading diagonal lines.

Beautiful photo. But it’s funny–it reminds me of a very beautiful but troubled women, a sort of Edie Sedgewick type, I went to college with back in the ’80s. Something about the look in her eyes, the stance, the ensemble, the moodiness… It’s almost eerie.
