what a stylish guy!its the little details…the sleeves turned up ,the white t shirt cuff,scarf.. what a really great colour palette.. i want to decorate a room with these colours and textures!!! nicola
I'm fucking LOVING your posts lately – salt of the earth types with real personal style. Maybe it's just because the same people tend to pop up everywhere, but fashion month is frankly the most boring time for this blog.
This man put a big smile on my face:) If Santa Claus were real and were on vacation in NY this man would be him, in his "off work" clothes, his stylish and lovely hat and his beautiful blue scarf. Wonder who is the guy behind him with the hand on his shoulder and the woman holding his left arm (it looks like a woman´s thumb)… Loved his smile!!
You know there's nothing more wonderful than a gorgeous man in nice sweater (or two). My kind of guy. I really appreciate that there are buttons in this photograph too. And the pin on his hat. A watch! He has it all – including the best fashion accessory – a fabulous smile.
Santa's a hippie! Who knew? Peace sign, my foot. Ok, I like the sweater, it's nice, thick, warm looking. NYC weather may be about the same as Chicago's right now.
Personal style is a wonderful thing – wherever you find it. And the anonymous poster who thinks it's "endearing for an older guy to do a peace sign" should realize that it was this guy's generation who started it.
I love your photos and I love this dude. Seeing his belly made me think about your controversial post featuring the lady with chunky heels to complement her "curvy" (or "normal," or "not a stick…" take your pick) figure. I'd like to point out an inconsistency: when you post pictures of more portly men, like this one, the subjects are simply men, sans commentary. But non-stick-thin women aren't just women, they're "curvy" women. There are totally stylish, curvylicious women out there, and I'd like to see them featured in a post without any disclaimer or framing language. You're in a position to help make the new normal!
To the woman who called him "portly," Doug's actually quite thin but wears over sized clothes to mask that; not that there would be anything wrong with that.
Man–I love this guy! He would be so great to talk to. And his clothes, his smile, his hands and the facial hair is so just right. But I also like the bucket bag to the fore left of the photo.
Hey, this is the Ralph Lauren-Man, I once mixed up with Robert Rabensteiner in one of my (older) comment. It felt so humilating, but actually it was Robert´s fault ;-), because he is a cameleon.

I liked him better when I didn't know he worked for RL. At least he's not the same fashionista that shows up on everyone's blog. Great look for anyone of any age.
Gorgeous and very stylish, but he needs to lose that yellowing mustache around his upper lip. It looks stained by coffee and cigarettes and it's just gross.
