Cool hairstyle and i also really like the colour of the top. The rail bar blocking the eyes of the girl kind of draws attention on the two hair buns( sorry i don’t know the right word tor this!) popping up from the head.
I wish I could pull off that hair without looking like a total twat. Kudos to Bjork and all the women who look adorable with these pompoms, I envy you!
I know you’re playing to the nuance of fashion, but I couldn’t agree less. Fashion = style (everything, especially people). “Fashion is not something that exists in dresses only. Fashion is in the sky, in the street, fashion has to do with ideas, the way we live, what is happening.” Coco Chanel new&improved stylelanguage.wordpress.com
I find this picture intriguing, even sinister. First, we don’t see her eyes, then the background looks like a prison door, but I like the soft brown of her hair, blouse and pallet against the harsh black-grey-blue color of the background.
Nice composition, as usual.
P.S. As a european, I never understood how people can sit anywhere
(side walks, outside steps, pallets ) in their good clothes.
Who knew a crate could also serve as a workstation? LOVE the hair and the orange polka dots (two things I wouldn’t expect). In fact, I may wear my hair just like this to beat the heat.
Thanks Sartorialist – you’re the best, per the usual!

A hideaway moment – Mysterious. I love the bits and pieces you can see, but so much more that there are bits and pieces that you can’t see!

I’d love to see those polka dots on a men’s button up., though I don’t know if many men could pull of a collar like this one. Polka dots, I think, are the essence of elegance in simplicity — brilliantly exemplified here. I mostly use them as accents – in scarfs, socks, etc. But, I haven’t yet had the chance to buy a polka dot shirt. Maybe now’s the time.
