Lovely color. It suits her perfectly. But I wonder what she might look like if she stood up.

I love the neutral makeup nowadays. So different from the red lips, cheeks. This way, I notice the eyes and mouth.

Slight overexposure of light (sleeve, arm and face). Would love to see the other shots for comparison.

I think it was Isaac Mizrahi once said, that it was just as easy to put on a dress as a pair of jeans. She looks so lovely and so much at ease – it brightens my day to see someone dressed like this instead of what I normally throw on – a pair of jeans and sweater.

Its certainly not as easy when it gets cold. Dresses are great in the summer, but I honestly don’t understand how people wear them in the cold. But they must have done in the past, no?

She is wearing a 20 year old Miyake dress, one of those which never ages. I still have the same one at home.

What does it look like ? Is there a drawstring at the waist?

It always amazes me how well some people wear vintage. I wish I could do it with such ease but I mostly just look ridiculous. :) So I have given it up.
