During winter in Italy one sees loads of fur on the fashionable streets…Italians love everything real so you won’t see a lot of faux fur…which leads me to question if PETA exits there?!…I must say this lady looks pretty fabulous in her perfectly cut fur coat, stylishly chic!
These days people don’t see it the same. Faux fur/leather takes around a 1,000 years to degrade in a landfill, leaking poison into the Earth that entire time. Meanwhile real fur/leather is very biodegradable, and causes no damage to the environment. So we now know that natural fabrics are much better for the world around us. Thus PETA is no longer as vocal about fur.
Ah, Bella! Rewards and indicators of success are as generation-driven as any other value system. She looks elegant and refined. The question is … which bouquet will look best on the dining room table? All the blossoms pale, next to you, my Dear. Don’t stay out too late.
The comments from the past are such a wonderful reminder that fashion lives on in a case like this. I can not help but think she had her eyes on the white flowers center top that had not opened yet! Agree?
Old thinking. Gortex and all sorts of man made fabrics that keep you warm, as well as fake fur is TERRIBLE. They fill up landfills, and take an insanely long time to degrade, and poison the ground. Fur is environmentally sound. Research it a bit.
