I've never been so compelled to want to wear something as badly or as immediately as this outfit! The dress is amazing, the Converse are a perfect relaxed addition, the fuchsia lipstick is a lovely foil to the bursts of color, and it is AWESOME to have your sunnies on a chain. Convenient and cute.
I love that she's wearing Chuck Taylors with that dress! If she wore heels, she would look dressy but now she looks cute and effortlessly chic (in my opinion). I tend to do the same thing with dresses when I'm going for a casual look—white Chuck Taylors dress it down without making it look sloppy.
I dislike the glasses and the converses with this dress, I think that old sunglasses on the hair and classic brown shoes would be a better election, do you know?
Fab easy silhouette with a bright colorful print on top. You are so not overextended with a fancy apparel piece, plus print plus plus plus.It is just pure simplicity with an awesome graphic.
Oh I just love this young woman and her "totally fun" outfit. The boxy cut and pattern of her dress remind me of Marimekko's clothing. But, put this outfit on a tanned Italian beauty with a pair of bright white Designer Sneakers (No doubt) and you've got a refreshingly lovely summer outfit. Bella!
it's always nice to see people in the sort of simple laid back outfits that you might actually wear on a normal day. love all the colours and the print on her dress. and how cool are her aqua nails?! love this post. xx
My Fiance and I are going to Florence for our honeymoon – the last time I was there was in college and my cash situation was such that I did not eat out much … does anyone have recomendations for any good trattoria's? – thanks!
oooh awsome!the colours are sooo gorgeous on a white background!and it reminded me to attach a piece of thread to my sunglasses!it is the fourth pair this year!;)
Not the most figure flattering shape for a dress, but the colors are truly happy. I love the pockets and the Chucks. Especially love her demure but slightly mischievous smile. You don't see many simple shifts like this. Did she design this herself? Pretty lady.
Eh. The dress doesn't really do much for her figure. I like that it's colorful and adore the Converse kicks with it, but I wouldn't give this dress a 2nd glance. And the old lady glasses rope? I'll pass…
I love the hability you have to reflect natural beauty of people in your photos. Ever heard the poem 'Style' by Bukowski? I think your photos reflect it's escence…
She's as refreshing a popsicle on a hot day! Not all dresses have to be figure-hugging – this looks cool and breezy and very sexy-fresh. Love the Nouvelle Vague polish and Schiap pink lippy, too.
I like the dress, but think it would look better with a belt to bring out her shape. I also would suggest a casual pair of wedge heels. I do like the glasses on a chain!
MegScottScottMeg is living for her happy colors. We try to do a chiffon koolat as often as possible and are always happy to see others joining in the fun.
Love this look! She looks very pretty and comfortable in her outfit. She wears the dress so well it makes it something I'd like to have in my closet/on me.
beautiful girl, shoes very unexpected and great touch. Very few people could carry off this shape/color of dress. The shape is reminiscent of a medical smock–like a dental hygienist would wear (with pants), but she's so beautiful she pulls it off. I think there are tons of other outfits that would look much better on her, but she looks happy so who cares!
Ohhh yeah. My girlfriend immediately came to mind. She would simply look deliciously cute and adorable in this outfit. She is simply cute and adorable anyway. The color striping looks almost drizzled and would just be perfect. She is a vibrant visual artist and this would just be icing on an already wonderfully perfect cake!
I think there is something wrong with me. I must be the only American on the planet who just abhors sneakers. To me these shoes do nothing to enhance her beauty or her style. Where others see playful, I see stumpy and sweaty. Sure wish my eyes would allow me to appreciate what obviously a lot of others do.
this multicoloured number is something that I could never, EVER see myself in… but here, it is just perfect. Sophisticated or understated it isn't but there is something about this look that just works. Cool, fun and youthful and most definitely happy. X
the way she is wearing this dress is very very cool, the splash of color on the dress and the shoes look great together, very cool dressing and very stylish
Sometimes I think the ideal wardrobe would be the same sheath dress made up in a thousand different fabrics. A long ceiling rack like they have at the dry-cleaners: push a button and the dresses flow past you, push a button to stop. Ray Bans, Cons, black cashmere sweater, black suede very high heels, good haircut, regular workouts. A bike and an eReader with 100 books in it. Easy, regal, done.
this is a great shot and adorable girl but her outfit does not look good at all. It looks like she tried way too hard for the casual-chic look. and the shape of the dress just makes it even worse.
When I educate women on style or image I always let them know it is not the brand of name that gives a look its the individuality and personality that comes out by knowing yourself. This photo demonstrates how the clothes you wear matches your personality or individualism gives a impression of who you are or what mood you are in. Please feel free to visit LANCEUR DE MODE !
Absolutely great dress, but would work better with more stylish shoes (as has been noted in other comments) or colourful roman women's type sandals or something along those lines. Like the extra touch of the wristbands, and the smile by the way :)
Appart from the fact that she looks absolutely gorgeus, she actually made me call some friends and go out, and have some fun. She oozes contagious happiness.
This is a perfect way to describe this lovely, fun look. (I often say to the kids "This is a happy song" when we are listening to music… why not for clothing, too?) :)
Oddly though, the dress does not seem to be that flatering on her body shape. It begs the question… is this young lady Italian? Im guessing not, because we tend to be all about proportion and cut. Beautiful and 'outside the box' though. Just a little 'boxy' for me.
I saw you taking this picture at pitti, her name is Donata and i think she still has to realize what your joke was about, do not eat all the icecream! very funny
Very pretty woman. Love the hair and makeup. The sneakers are the BOMB! The color of the dress is fine.
However,
the old lady 'glasses on the chain' and the boxy, shapeless dress have to go IM-EEEEE-JET-LEE! She's much too young and shapely to be wearing something so unflattering to her form.
Wow, nice post, there are many person searching about that now they will find enough resources by your post.Thank you for sharing to us.Please one more post about that..
The south is colour, happyness, espontain, carpe diem, sexy and…poor. Whatever.I think less oportunities make great soluctions. In many aspects of life.
People are so bvlind. if she belted the dress, she would be accentuating her hips. And she is obviously going for a slim line here. She is dressed in a very clever way. Anyone giving “suggestions” or saying an other outfit would be better is just not getting it. She is not only sexy but smart. a perfect combo.

Hmmm…..think I'll pass on this one. The hair and make-up isn't working all that well either. Gosh, y'all are easy to please.

this is a great shot and adorable girl but her outfit does not look good at all. It looks like she tried way too hard for the casual-chic look. and the shape of the dress just makes it even worse.

Hmmm. Interesting to see the reactions of commentators here. Most females adore the dress (including myself), and only a few males do. Curious.

The dress definitely works on the tanned, attractive young woman. I don't think it would work on most women though.
I don't like the Converse "Chucks" as part of the look though.

Absolutely great dress, but would work better with more stylish shoes (as has been noted in other comments) or colourful roman women's type sandals or something along those lines. Like the extra touch of the wristbands, and the smile by the way :)

I really love the bright colours which are a contrast against the plain sneakers. The contrast actually draws attention to the sneakers.

This is a perfect way to describe this lovely, fun look. (I often say to the kids "This is a happy song" when we are listening to music… why not for clothing, too?) :)

Her smile is absolutely amazing and with that she can probably get away with wearing just about anything – no matter how loud or crazy it may be.

Pretty and happy!
Oddly though, the dress does not seem to be that flatering on her body shape. It begs the question… is this young lady Italian? Im guessing not, because we tend to be all about proportion and cut. Beautiful and 'outside the box' though. Just a little 'boxy' for me.

Very pretty woman. Love the hair and makeup. The sneakers are the BOMB! The color of the dress is fine.
However,
the old lady 'glasses on the chain' and
the boxy, shapeless dress have to go
IM-EEEEE-JET-LEE! She's much too young and shapely to be wearing something so unflattering to her form.
