The best thing about this photograph is how tiny it makes her look.
She’s a beautiful girl being enveloped by this big man’s blazer, and the wide leg jeans.
She’s shielding herself like a little kid with the big book.
And the stair case and pillars around her look mammoth, making her look even more tiny.
Yes! I really really want to see non-skinny jeans making a comeback. I absolutely love how she wore these jeans like fancy trousers. This is like my go-to outfit—classic blazer, simple button-down, and well-fitting pants.
The jeans give emphasis to the outfit. The dramatic look of the model create impact to the wardrobe. You can also add accessories, just a little if possible.
Wonderful from head to waist. I do not like the huge pants thing. I think elegance and frugality are somehow interconnected–as anti-intuitive as may sound. The jeans mix waste (too much fabric) with a working-person’s staple (the blue-jean). There is something absurd (not in a good way) about the clash of utility and indulgence. Not in theory but in the particular instance of huge pants. Perhaps there is some generic philosophical truth here, though.
i really enjoy how you framed this photo. and the outfit is perfection. i think in fashion the littlest detail can make a look. the barely-pink color of her oxford does that for me, here.
Those pants are amazing. I wish I saw more of this in Los Angeles. With summer coming I am going to have to wait some time before pants come back. Great photography as usual.
so beautiful!! im glad u’re not only posting HK fashion pics, it’s actually not that ‘happening’ in HK, but i hope u still enjoy the bi-culturalism, the ex-pat party people, Lan Kwai Fong, and the awesome food! ;)
The grey block and the blue, the lines it’s almost kind of architectural design ! Love it so much ! There is another pic with a stunning japanese couple and a grey wall behind same spirit !
Striking photo – evocative and moody. I love the jacket and jeans, but not together. A snug-fitting turtleneck or cardigan on top, perhaps? And the jacket with a skinny jean or leggings.
When I look at this photo I hear Bobby Short singing the old “And they call it… Charlie!” jingle. I’m just waiting for her to go striding across the street or twirling gracefully through a nightclub…
Any thoughts on Berluti bags/briefcases. Specically the deux jours and then the next larger size up, the formulua (I think its wider?) Thoughts welcomed. Thanks

Wonder if those seams on her jeans are purposely twisted or if it’s just the way she’s posing… Either way, it creates a cool effect! Especially with the bottom of the jeans. Great choice in the colour of her shirt too.
