Baggy harem pants like these would be a cinch to sew. I like how she’s head to toe (almost) in black. The strappy, navy-heeled flat sandals take the chocolate cake!
I love the fact that she is using Canon g(12?)…I remember when I first got my g10 and everyone thought I was so cool.. now everyone and their mom has one.
P.S. Paris Fashion Week is just around the corner.. I am hoping to see you on the streets!:)
A jumpsuit? Harem pants and a tank? A new type of skirt? Whatever this is, it’s stunning. Love the shoes and the way she added black socks/stockings to keep the monochromatic look going all the way to her feet.
Who thinks cutting the tops off of a pair of bowling shoes and wearing a tarp around one’s waist is a style statement and not just crazy homeless? (I’ll admit the fact that she looks clean, not insane, and is sporting a $500 canon point and shoot)
The dress (or jumpsuit) is flattering to her figure, and she’s pretty enough to get away with wearing socks with sandals. One way to tell if something is actually chic or cool is if a normal person could get away with wearing it. If I tried socks with sandals people would probably point and laugh, lol.
It is pants and a tank top, pretty obviously. Cute sandals, and a pair of socks. If anyone is confused. I am so glad the Tokyo session is done, It just wasn’t as inspiring as this. Funny how two posters think that this is Tokyo style, as it is not taken in Japan at all!!!
No. Socks and sandals are not a good idea. On anyone ever. Let’s stop the blind adherence to what some misguided hipster stylist for J.Crew is telling us is a good idea. The rest of her is perfect, just ex the grandpa feet.
This is indeed an interesting photo – her feet are poining one direction and the shoulders another one. It’s as if the lower body is separated from the upper body, and the only thing that makes a connection is the jumpsuit :)

The continuation of black extends the silhouette nicely. Comfy and stylish; the best kind of stylish, in my view.
I would try this…..
