I love Giovanna, I discovered her sence of style through your blog and Garance's one and since then, everytime a new picture of her is published I'm eager to have a look at it. She's is so natural, glamorous and inspiring!!!
le gambe piĂą belle di Milano, di sicuro! Francois Truffaut diceva: "le gambe delle donne sono come dei compassi che disegnano la circonferenza del mondo conferendole unitĂ e armonia". Pensava sicuramente a Giovanna Battaglia.
And we are so back…in Italia..and here is many a sart fans fav…the always elegant "giovanna". I wonder, is she part of the legendary and esteemed "BATTAGLIA" Milanese men's store of bev. hills/rodeo drive?
Just recently discovered sartorialist, and WOW.. I lived in Japan for 4 years and have recently moved back to Australia. I have been looking for something to fill the void(style-wise),since leaving Japan, and of all places to discover (your book and subsequently this site) is at an art museum! So made my day! Thank you.
Without those shoes mmm??? But with them on she could be wearing anything and she'd still look good ;)
Gorgeous. Seriously is THIS big hair? Everyone is so used to flat hair. I love her hair. Long live natural looking hair! Think about it, how good would this really look with a bun or straight hair? Time to let your curls breathe girls…
She effortlessly wears her high heel "decolettes"! I love the contrast between her shiny shoes and her free style hair. I guess that's the secret italian women have! Simple shaped hair! Almost no make-up! The coat she wears is an excellent chain between the shoes and the hair. She's once again the best representative of milanese elegance!
Wow! She is effortless, which takes… a lot of effort. The coat, the shoes, no nylons, I can just see a hint of pink at the left wrist, so maybe that is what she's wearing underneath. Those shoes are towers!
Oh the joys of "what lies underneath". She is lovely in a simple but elegant coat revealing a stunning pair of legs contrasted nicely with black pumps. Just goes to show you that sexiness can be coy and not always "in your face".
She looks so chic, as always! Simple yet sophisticated. Familiar, yet unique. I've seen her in your book, and observed that her styles differ in various ways. But she doesn't lose her personality — her identity. J'adore!
