Not so! There are so many lovely older women around, if one only bothers to acknowledge them. Just recently I read an article on how women at a certain age become invisible to men – and to other women! I couldn’t quite believe the second part, but sadly, your comment seems to confirm it.
This is one of the silliest comments I have ever read. If you look around you will see that many older women outshine older men by far, as they often take a greater interest in grooming. It’s the North American culture that has us brainwashed into believing that older men become like fine wine and women start to rot. You’d think we would be past this sort of thing…
To southcast: your comment is simply inappropriate.
To carole: You can find him in Al Bazaar store in Milano. He works there.
To Debra: Sounds like you are American. No, he simply likes fitted clothes.
To the rest: He is a nice chap. I had a chat with him last November when I popped in their store.
He either needs to have a word with his tailor or lose a few kilos or, easiest of all, not button up the jacket. Too tight, otherwise a very stylish dresser. I remember seeing a documentary on English tailors and they all said the same, never button up your jacket no matter what the style unless you want to look like a newsreader. At a push one button, but in this case none would look great.
I see there’s been much discussion over whether or not the suit is too tight, given how the button looks. Out of curiosity, I took a look at the Al Bazar site: Lino Ieluzzi himself, who is the store’s founder and is photographed in a variety of poses, wears his suits with the same fit. Therefore, I can only imagine that either 1) the suits he produces are all similarly cut, or 2) both men have a preference for this fit. I’m a woman who can do very little with a needle and thread, expect make a lopsided hem, mend socks so that they look unfortunately lumpy and sew on a button with some decency: in my opinion, it’s a question of personal preference. Overall the suit fits very well, and the man featured in this shot looks great.
