This is the epitome of Los Angeles Mall Rat-ism. If you look closely, you can see the Hot Topic reciept sticking out of her pocket.
Be honest. Your opinion is completely biased because this picture is on this site. This is bland, unoriginal, uninspired. I shall go further and say it just looks uncomfortable and bad.
None of what she wears could possibly be bought at Hot Topic. But even if it could, so the Hell what???? Since when does clothing have to be by a known designer or all vintageto be beautiful and elegant?????? Purchasing things at stores that are possible for regular young people does not mean that the outfit is somehow less worthy. I think her combination of interestingly cut, affordable, clothing looks better then most botox faced magazine editors with their outfits that cost in the thousands of dollars. Extravagant clothing doesn’t make style. The overall look does, and she has a definite look, with a strong fashion point of view.
Wow…!!
Love the dramatic eye makeup and the bold shoes…also love the lighting in the photo..makes it look both feminine and edgy at the same time..great shot as always!
best, zia http://tisallaboutthefashion.blogspot.in/
I have the fortune to know Kendall…she never ceases to inspire me…she is an original. And references Edie Sedgwick-Blondie and Lady Gaga…in her own style.
I wonder what it feels like to walk in those shoes! They’re probably comfortable because they are just elevated flats, but might be pretty hefty to run around in (unless the sole is hollow!)
It says a lot about the demographics of this site that almost no one sees that she really resembles Kreayshawn in this photograph! Cool look nonetheless
What a super super incredible photo and outfit!!!! . Very nice to see something different from the fashion world, this young girl is fresh and with a lot of personality!!!. Bellissima photo!!

This picture is pure art- the girl is incredible-so chic and fashion forward in her own unique style . There’s nothing I hate more than main stream or fashion victim- she has amazing style in a very unique, refreshing and understated way. I love the background and lighting – its what makes this picture memorable and art worthy- and its what I so love about this photo. This could have been styled for an upscale European magazine- kudos!
I dont think this is original by any means the whole silhouette of it is pretty popular right now. Although, within that silhouette I love her flatform-ish shoes and simple, repeated flower pattern on her shirt, which gets the attention it deserves because everything else she is wearing is plain and solid. the hair and makeup made me think of edie sedgwick. I think although it’s not the most original, it’s youthful, the background/setting sort of reaffirms that. when your younger you want to be yourself yet part of something bigger, too.
I wonder what she was listening to? Music has a lot of influence on us and how we dress. From runways in New York to London, they feature the most progressive music from around the world. Kitsune Maison started off as a record label in France and now they have stores in New York, London, Paris, and Tokyo. It’s been interesting watching this movement over the last few years.
