Wow. This is what you’d call mixed genres, right? I’m pretty sure the pioneers, from whom that skirt descends, wouldn’t have worn a LBSB (Little Black Sports Bra) to show off their rock hard abs. Yet it works.
This shot is one of the best I’ve seen on the blog lately <3
Love the concept. Long printed skirt with a cropped top. Maybe a little longer for me since I don’t have a 6-pack. Not a big fan of this particular skirt though. Not sure if it’s the flowers or the lace or the combo of the two, but it’s a bit too country for me.
I just can’t with this. I’m wearing the same sports bra right now. Difference is is that mine is covered with a tank top and I just returned from a kettlebell session at the gym. That bra with the skirt is hard on the eyes and the hat isn’t helping either. The word that comes to mine is “discordant”.
Beautiful chaos. This doesn’t feel like one of those hyper-calculated pseudo-bohemian “eclectic” looks; it seems instead to be a genuinely lovely and strange collision of elements–bare and covered, powerful and delicate, vintage and modern.
Great summer outfit – great combination, but why do people wear hats pulled back like that?
In old movies (when everyone wore a hat) women and men always tilted hats to a flattering angle. I wear a hat throughout summer to protect my Irish skin; there is no shade if it is pulled back, so form and function are eliminated by this “hat pulling back” business.
