I am obsessed with ripped and patched jeans – love em!
    Thanks Ralph Lauren!
I have no idea if these are Ralph Lauren (there’s lots of labels doing this
kind of look/treatment), but these look really cool on him.

Love the ‘ageing Mod’ style on the right, but the coat on the left makes me cringe slightly: the patches somehow make it look like the fur has mange. Love all the textures and ‘visual excitement’ you captured.

The Italians certainly love patches…for some reason.

Questionable get ups, especially given the guy’s advancing years (there is no purposeful hair colouring there). The patched jeans evidently hark back to his youth (even I can relate to that), but what’s with the white socks?!!!

Im wondering if all those patches represets things they actually like. For example the NASA logo. That boy is really interested on that?? Probably he doas, but maybe not. I don’t usually have patches on my clothes, but when I was younger i used to have them on my bag and they were always about something that actually said something about me. Sometimes were patches about a band or about a cause. OR a symbol that was meaningful for me.

I used to think military style clothing looked cool. Having joined the military changed my mind about that. For example, the patches that this man is wearing. I highly doubt that he is a veteran. It takes a lot to be in the military, and to earn those patches. It’s disrespectful to people who have died wearing their uniform. Something to pass along to others in a friendly way.
