Ha! I was just looking out my window at the rain and thinking about how envious I am that somewhere, someone is wearing such a sunny and carefree ensemble. Love the modestly of the long-sleeve blouse coupled with the see-through skirt.
Ha!!! I was thinking the same thing. My thought was that she must have gotten a REALLY good deal on those shoes because they don’t fit her. I actually started reading the comments to see if anyone else thought the same thing, thinking that maybe I have been wearing my shoes too big all this time.
Aside from that, lovely outfit.
I like the capture, minimalistic in colors approach and this circles-light play on the skirt. I’m not that excited style wise. It seems a bit too much skin, too much see through for my taste. Maybe, having a shot of an whole ensemble I would feel differently but right now it feels like she should have something longer or maybe even in a different color underneath.
Pretty,l sexy and ladylike. I love that her shoes and her clutch are exactly, perfectly matched. That is the detail that is the most fun to me. That beige pink is such a pretty color, and she has such very pretty feet.
But what is mysterious is how she has the shirt tucked into that see through skirt? Wouldn’t you see the tails of the shirt inside the skirt? Yet I see nothing. It has vanished.
I believe she has a very short underskirt and this is why you can’t see the blouse – it is tucked under the underskirt :).
What I love most about this is the wavy end of the skirt that perfectly matches the upper side of the shirt’s cuff. http://joyacoustics.blogspot.com
The shirt tails are tucked into her nude coloured pants… This is a beautiful, delicate and sexy look, which is very modern. Quite a unique combination given the current fashion for aggressive sexuality. She must be wearing thermal pants… Or Paris is having a freak December heat wave.
The fabric and palette are lovely and the image respects them, but honestly, would you really want people doing a double take as you walk down the street, for all the wrong reasons? I just wouldn’t invite that much random attention to my body. There’s been so much of this overtly stated transparency in the last year and even though it’s often beautifully styled it looks kind of desperate. It feels like people are shouting to be heard now, where they used to be able to murmur and still be noticed. There’s a lot to work with here though and with an extra layer and colour there’s fun to be had.
The skirt is fun…and it would be easy to make since there’s no lining…now I’d wear it with some knee-length white stretch lace leggings with a scalloped edge. In fact, I have this exact item all cut out. I just need to sew it up. Now I don’t have the ‘see-through’ white skirt to wear it with at a holiday party.
Wow! You need to be very confident (and look great!) to pull off this look, but how amazing it is! And despite its revealing nature, its looks soft, polished, and romantically feminine thanks to the use of white and the texture of the broderie anglaise. Beautiful look!
Well the style is great and so it is the combination of colors white frock and nude sandals/clutch. However, it is NOT appropriate for the winter season. I know it was quite a friendly weather this December in Paris but could anyone dress like summer in winter? I would not consider it :-)
